How does Odin have the lowest protections in his class? Unless I am reading something wrong he is not the lowest in his class.

Well this is what I see for physical protections on all warriors

Odin = 17 (+3)
Tyr = 15 (+3)
Guan Yu = 16 (+3)
Vamana = 18 (+3)
Sun Wukong = 18 (+3)
Hercules = 18 (+3)
Chaac = 18 (+3)
Osaris = 15 (+3)

Tyr, Osaris, Guan Yu all have lower protections and the rest of the warriors have the same protections, so odin is in the middle I guess you could say.

Okay now Health since health plays a part too.

Odin = 475 (+86) = 2195
Tyr = 475 (+80) = 2075
Guan Yu = 470 (+84)= 2155
Vamana = 480 (+85) = 2180
Sun Wukong = 480 (+82) = 2120
Hercules = 480 (+86) = 2200
Chaac = 480 (+85) = 2180
Osaris = 475 (+80) = 2075

So Odin has the second highest health under Hercules.
After level 5 Odin has more health then every warrior besides Hercules because of the scaling per level.

So really it looks like this. pp = physical protection
I'm separating Hercules because he has best of all stats when it comes to health and protection. The 3 under him have 1 more protection then odin but less health. The ones under odin have less health and less protection.

Hercules 2200 Hp / 78 PP

Chaac 2180 Hp / 78 PP
Vamana 2180 Hp / 78 PP
Sun Wukong 2120 / 78 PP

Odin 2195 Hp / 77 PP <-- Has one less protection but more health

Guan Yu 2155 Hp / 76 PP

Tyr 2075 Hp / 75 PP
Osaris 2075 Hp / 75 PP

How much of a difference does 1 protection make compared to having almost 100 more Hp than some of the other warriors?

Now imagine that if Odin had his passive protections, that would mean he would be the king.

So I guess,
Herc has a heal
Chaac has a heal
Guan has a heal
Osaris can mitigate damage
Tyr can build up defense only in defense stance
Sun wukong can heal with his ult
Vamana can heal with his ult
Odin, doesn't have a heal but has hp5 passive so he heals over time in small amounts non stop

Based on stats alone, Odin is only 1 protection point away from being with the other warriors who have 1 more protection but Odin has the highest health.

I'm not talking about abilities, but based on stats alone, I don't see how Odin is exactly garbage.

I'm not saying he's garbage in terms of stats, I'm saying the stats don't really matter. Like, one point of physical protection literally makes zero difference.

Basically,you said his base stats were awesome,compensating for his lacking kit. I say that they don't matter since they're absurdly close to the other base stats to not make a whit of difference.

and I was saying that people made it seem as though since he lost protections that somehow he is not near the same as other warriors in terms of just stats.
