Mix up your offense and defense as is needed in the match. As such, items to consider is a very long list. I recommend selling Warriors for a defense item, and then whatever you want when you sell boots.
Toxic Blade
Brawler's Beat Stick
Pestilence
Contagion
Arondight
Shogun's Kusari
Berserker's Shield
Blackthorn Hammer

Standard leveling up. 1 First, 2 second, Ult when you can, escape last.
I like using the 3 to engage, as being the solo laner you have the shorter lane so its much easier to get back if you need to than in Duo.

Hunters in the solo lane have innate advantages compared to others in the lane, and that advantage is being able to poke the enemy warrior. In the early game it determines the early game based on how well you poke the enemy warrior out.
Chiron has the sustain to keep up with a warrior with his Passive, which acts as little mini-health potions whenever he uses an ability. Not only that, but his ult acts as a revive if there's a tight fight in the solo lane if you land the kill.
The ranged attacks, along with Chrion's passive, makes him great for the solo lane in my opinion, and should be played more in that position.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
