Hi all, we are going to talk about Ratatoskr, builds and tips about him. You will tipically play Ratatoskr as a jungler, mostly everytime, he is a very hard hitting god, good burst, great escapes(with his dash and ultimate), good penetration (with his 2) and very good crowd control (with his 3 which is a stun and his ult, a large aoe knock up). Keep in mind that having such a big knockup on your kit is very good, considering that is probably the best crowd control in the game. Now talking about jungle itself, in this meta I usually start at fg camp, then going for the wave on solo, and afterwards camping mid for a while(it depends on the situation).
Related to the build, it depends on the match-up you gain. Preferably for the start you want to build bluestone+bumbas(very good sustain and dmg on jungle, especially with the last hits on camps), then finishing your boots and going for damage. My core items on him are heartseeker and jotuns for now(who nows when the heartseeker is getting nerfed :) ), then building into hydras is very good for your burst, a little bit tanky with mantle of discord, then penetration with titan's bane or brawlers(if they have considerable heal). As a last item I would consider building into bloodforge, because is such a powerful item on a teamfight, getting that shield and movement speed on Rat is very helpful. Keep in mind that build can be different, depending on your matchup as I said beofre(for example, sometimes i build breastplate instead of jotuns because they have more physical gods).
I would also like to add some tips about how to play him, when to engage,combos etc.
The basically combo for Rat is Dash+auto+stun(your 3)+auto+2+ auto(that should do a lot of dmg), if they escape that's not a problem, you have ult to chase. Remember, don't keep your just to chase kills, that knockup is such a good initiation too. You can turn a teamfight just hitting that ult on multiple people. I mentioned before about dash+auto+3+auto... Auto-attack cancels are very important if you wanna do the most damage output on a target, that combined with a hydras will destroy squishy targets.
