Raijin pounds his drums sending forth a peal of thunder in a line, then another, then two at once, each growing wider as it travels. The thunder deals Magical Damage to Enemies it hits.

Raijin marks a target enemy by dismissing his ally Raiju, who deals damage as he hides in the enemy's navel. While asleep, Raiju slows and reveals the target to Raijin's team on the minimap. The next time Raijin hits the target, Raiju awakens and claws his way out, doubling the slow and damaging the target and 5 nearby enemies every .5s for 2.5s in his attempt to flee. Subsequent enemies hit take decreased damage.

Active: Raijin flies above the battlefield, beating his drum 4 times to summon peals of thunder. With each hit, he has a choice of three beats:

Beat one: 100% damage
Beat two: Taunt and 50% Damage
Beat three: Fear and 50% Damage

While in the air, Raijin suffers a 20% Movement Speed Slow.

Summary

Hi everyone. Just a very quick guide for you guys. We've seen many builds on SmiteFire for Raijin, suitable for different playstyles, most of them are not bad. But since new patch, Raijin is kinda OP now (very efficient early game wave clear and monstrous late game damage). Won't bother to go deep in details for now so just check these builds out, try 'em and let me know what you think. Works awesomely well for me.

How to play Raijin
You max your 1 first and your 2 second. You put only one point in your 3 until late game and max your ult when possible. The combo is you throw your 2 on a target (it slows and mark them) and when you hit the target with either a basic attack or a ability, it gives tick of damage for a duration. So combo is 2 + 1 on a target and they take huge damage. Simple as that. For wave clear, throw your 2 on archers and hit the whole wave with your 1. Clears really fast.
So you can also combine your 2 with another ability, your 3 or ult, but most of the time you'll use your 3 just as an escape, though if you're very aggressive and confident, you can pull out of some kill in close range by throwing your whole kit against an assassin for example, and secure kill with your 3 (first damage, then teleport into it damage) for escaping low hp ennemies. Very useful and polyvalent ability. Be sure btw to read ult description. Press 1, 2 or 3 for more dmg, taunt or fear. The taunt is useful for team ganking, either on attack or defense. Combines your taunt with your teammates abilities or even save teammates by dragging the opponents towards you. If done well, his ult can be extremely efficient.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
