Mobility is the key

The idea of this build is to keep Poseidon faster than any other god. This is mainly for arena play. It not only has great magic damage but lets you zoom in and out of combat VERY fast.

This... is build only. I could scream bloody cheesecake.

If you're going to post a build-only guide, please say so in the name. This should have been named "Poseidon Arena Speed Build (Build Only)" or something similar.

The build is ok. However, you list seven items. Doesn't quite work that way.

Considering this build is four months old and hasn't been updated, I'm disappointed.

I think you mean Creeping Curse and Sprint ;)

I have to agree with the previous posters. A very fun build, especially late game, when you have all the items & your whizzing past attempted snares from the enemy.

I suppose it does sacrifice somewhat on power, as I do find it difficult to carry a poor performing/mediocre teams to a victory - I am referring to Arena mode here.

Anything I can do to improve that? Item-wise or just skill/tactic wise?

Insanely fun build in the arena, can pick up A LOT of kills if you have an allied Hades!

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
