Early game, early as in before you have the ring, use your basic attacks on the creeps, and build up stacks for your passive. When your passive is all built up, us your 3rd in combination with your first to ensure the hit. Whoever you hit will probably back off.
Once you have the ring, however, use your 2nd in combination with your 1st and 3rd and your opponent will immediately fall over dead. Continue Feeding on the poor chicken nuggets until you are a fat little asian kid. Once you have fatalis, there will be none of the escaping. your enemies will cower in fear as you beat the living **** out of them. The shard and combat bling add to your squirmyness. Use them in unison to escape death.
If you are up against several physical enemies, replace the void stone with the Wall of Absoloution.

This build is absolute ****. Poseidon is not built both ability and auto attack because of the fact that his 1st knows the enemy away. Telkhines ring only applies to the middle auto in his 2nd. I believe you should go hang yourself over a bucket of pokegirl piss. Lick my tits. Love you. -Squirrel941
Ignore this guy.
This is possibly the worst Poseidon build i have seen to date. A god with damage abilities as high as Poseidon's should not be put to waste with auto attacks that pack little to no punch. While this build MAY under LIMITED CIRCUMSTANCES make up for the counter of the aegis items on the massive damage ultimate it simply cannot provide the needed damage to make ignoring these ability's worth while. Additionally the amount of protections on this build are completely unnecessary considering the inherent move speed and crowd control moves (all of his ability's can be used in some way to escape) so therefore it would stand to reason that more power would simply outclass the protections this build provides. The level order for ability's is also non-sensible, it simply counters the build itself. If this build is based around auto-attacking then would it not stand to reason to upgrade whirlpool with priority over tidal serge as whirlpool holds them in place making it easier for you to land ability's rather than upgrading the ability that serves to separate you and your target.
Ignore him too.
It's obvious that they're the same guy who made multiple accounts.
Your build is odd, and I can't really comment on it because I'm not a Poseidon player. But you lack any item or skill explanations, as well as gameplay, and you have a wall of text.
Also, stop being offensive, or I will too.
I'll downvote, but I gave my reasons why.
