After I tried out Smite recently, I went online to see what builds different players were using for different gods as I was trying out new gods. I saw that most websites and youtube channels had scraps of information and guides out there and that I had to do a lot of digging around to get enough information to l2p the game properly.
I decided to post the guides for each hero I've played here on Smitefire for the builds I enjoyed playing. This way, I don't have to go back and dig through videos or text to remember the builds I've played and you guys can have some builds to try out as well. I'll be giving credit to different players and their alias'es if I post a build that's identical to theirs.
Shizno made this build for Anubis and showcased it on his youtube channel as a youtube video. Go check it out if you want to give him credit or get more details on this build.

Get Rank 1 Boots of the Magi, Rank 1 Hide of the Leviathan and whatever potions you like at the start.
Max Hide of the Leviathan first, then your boots second.
Get Rank 3 Warlock's Sash.
To finish off your build, get and max Book of Thoth, Pythagorem's Piece and Rod of Tahuti.
Get one point of grasping hands at lv 1. This is your bread and butter spell because it slows the enemy and damages them. It should be used to initiate any fight. You can also use it to clear waves, or at least various sized packs of ranged creeps.
Get one point of Plague of Locusts at lv 2. This spell is used to lay down the hurt on opponents and sometimes clear waves.
Get one point of Mummify at lv 3. Right Before or after laying down Grasping Hands, you can hit your target with mummify, before channeling Locusts one them while they sit inside of your grasping hands.
Get Death Gaze at lv 5 and whenever its availible.
Max Grasping hands first, Locust second and Mummify last.
Your typical combo is Grasping hands underneath your target(s), hitting a target with Mummify, then landing Locusts on your rooted target and as many other targets as possible. You can then death gaze to finish off a weak opponent if needed.
You can also just use Grasping hands and your root to hold them in place for a Death Gaze to straight up murder someone at short or even mid range without locusts.
Anubis should be in a side lane with either a 2v2 lane partner or in a lane next to your jungler/roamer (typically left lane.) Any gods with AoE or cc are good lane partners for Anubis. Ymir is probably one of the best partners to pair with simply because the Ymir/Anubis combo simply destroys opponents during the laning phase.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
