When I first picked up Ganesh I felt my play style with them was based on having max cooldown. I liked being able to have my abilities come up as quickly as possible while still being able to be Tanky and deal decent damage.
- Start with cooldown boots always.
- If they have more physical than magical damage output you can go straight into breast plate or you can buy mail of renewal.
- I figured mail of renewal would be pretty good on Ganesh because of their passive and it really compliments them well. Plus it gives you the last 10% cool down you need.
- After cool down is done I like to go for health since the passive of mail of renewal will be playing into effect hence the winged blade.
- Then ethereal staff for health and damage. The extra health from this with the winged blade will help agains the teaming magical damage on the enemy team. Until you're able to get the final item. You can also experiment with gen of isolation for similar build with slight twists.
- Finish off with void stone for magical defense and some bonus damage
Again this specific build is for mainly phys damage but the same comfy can be put into my other builds with Ganesh. Staple items are the cooldown boots and mail of renewal then choose from your combination of cooldown items to max out. Then go from there.

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
