Me chamo Tiago e sou jogador de Smite desde beta fechado em 2012. De lá para cá já vi muita coisa mudar no jogo mas sempre mantive minha paixão por jogar de suporte.
Hoje faço stream todos os dias na Twitch e tento sempre passar meu conhecimento e trocar experiencia com todos que dão uma passadinha nas lives.

Dito isso, disponibilizo esse guia de como costumo buildar nas partidas rankeadas, espero que seja de grande ajuda a todos!

My name is Tiago and I've been a Smite player since closed beta in 2012. Since then I've seen a lot change in the game but I've always kept my passion for playing support.
Today I stream every day on Twitch and I always try to pass on my knowledge and exchange experiences with everyone who stops by the lives.

That said, I make this guide available on how I usually build in ranked matches, I hope it will be of great help to everyone!

Gameplay

Early/mid game:

E de extrema importancia que no comeco do jogo voce foque em proteger seus aliados e nao iniciar lutas desnecessarias (na verdade essa regra serve para todos os deuses em qualquer momento da partida). Procure sempre farmar junto dos aliados nas lanes e selva e tambem evite fazer campos sozinhos, uma vez que o tempo que voce vai levar e muito grande e tambem deixa de dividir o XP com o restante do time.
Preferencialmente sempre deixe claras suas intencoes de gank atraves dos comandos do chat e tente sempre gankar com 1 jogar a mais. Por exemplo: se o seu adc estiver trocando com o adc inimigo e ambos estiverem sozinhos, e uma boa ideia realizar o gank, porem se o adc inimigo estiver com o suporte, chegue na lane para defender o seu adc e nao gankando, pois a chance de voce tomar um counter gank e maior, nesse caso o melhor a se fazer e pedir auxilio do jg ou mid para que o gank acontece com 1 jogador de vantagem.
Tambem evite utilizar a Skill 1 da Atena para iniciar lutas onde o inimigo possui chance de escapar, essa Skill é muito melhor utilizada para chegar até seus amigos afim de salva-los ou entao para seguir e aplicar lentidao inimigos que estao fugindo da luta.

Late game:

No parte final do jogo, quando o farm e os ganks ja nao sao de suma importancia, chega a hora de se concentrar na tf. Atena possui um potencial de iniciar muito bom, mas e defendendo os aliados que ela realmente brilha.
Procure sempre deixar a iniciacao das lutar para o jg ou para o solo, e muito melhor para o time que voce consiga deixar tanto o mid quando o adc na back line. Evite gastar a Skill 2 em personagens tanks a nao ser que voce esteja tirando eles de cima dos seus carrys (mid e adc).
Caso voces tomem um gank na back line e voce nao consiga dar body block ou taunt no inimigo, e sempre uma boa ideia ultar no seu colega, visto que a ult da atena tambem da mitigacao de dano alem do dano final.

Early/mid game:

It is extremely important that at the beginning of the game you focus on protecting your allies and not starting unnecessary fights (actually this rule works for all gods at any time of the game). Always try to farm with your allies in the lanes and jungle and also avoid making fields alone, since the time it will take you is too long and it also fails to share the XP with the rest of the team.
Preferably always make clear your gank intentions through the chat commands and always try to gank with 1 player more. For example: if your adc is trading with the enemy adc and both are alone, it's a good idea to gank, but if the enemy adc is with support, arrive in the lane to defend your adc and not ganking, because the chance of you taking a counter gank is greater, in this case the best thing to do is ask for help from jg or mid so that the gank happens with 1 player ahead.
Also avoid using Athena's Skill 1 to start fights where the enemy has a chance to escape, this Skill is much better used to get to your friends in order to save them or else to follow and apply slow enemies that are running away from the fight.

Late game:

In the later part of the game, when the farm and ganks are no longer of paramount importance, it's time to focus on TF. Athena has very good starting potential, but it's defending allies that she really shines.
Always try to leave the initiation of the fights to the jg or solo, it is much better for the team that you can leave both the mid and adc alive in the back line. Avoid spending Skill 2 on tanky characters unless you are getting them off your carries (mid and adc).
In case you get ganked on the back line and you can't body block or taunt the enemy, it's always a good idea to ult on your teammate, as Athena's ult also gives damage mitigation to the selected ally while she charges in addition to final damage.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
