Aphrodite builds S4 (Damage, Support)

Early game i usually start out with sands of time, lost artifact and mana potions just to have a lot of mana sustain, a little power and cooldown (which is important on Aphrodite). Health potions are not needed as you have a healing ability (which is why mana is more important), but if you dont feel safe going no health potions, i recommend buying a multipotion.
Don't be too aggressive early game, and be careful. But dont be too scared either, cause then you'll fall behind. Remember that its easier for you to poke people than it is for them to poke you, because you can just heal up after taking the damage.
Early game you should stay linked as often as possible. Linking the tank is usually good, or someone with a really bad early game/someone who needs mana/healing. Linking to melee gods is also good, and makes them able to farm minions/poke without taking too much damage.

When you have achieved full cooldown with chronos pendant, shoes of focus and sands of time you can start being more aggressive. Your healing is a lot stronger now.

Late game you'll do a lot of damage, and heal for a lot. Remember, your 3 will almost heal you for half your health, so you can take a lot of poke and damage without having to worry too much. And yes, Aphrodite can easily frontline late game, especially if you initiate with your kiss, birds, back off combo.


General tips:
Stay linked as often as possible for the extra movement speed, plus you can heal them and you give your soul mate a jealousy damage buff when kissing an enemy. Also dont forget that it regenerates mana, so staying linked to mana hungry gods are good for them (Dont be afraid of using a mana potion if you're connected to someone, even if your mana is full, especially mid to late game).
Also if you feel confident enough, dont be afraid to 1v1 someone. If you hit them with your kiss you are guaranteed to hit the rest of their combo and do about half their health late game, possibly forcing them to retreat, if not combo them again and kill them.


What relics to get:

Meditation is very good especially early game just to keep you and your soulmates mana and health up. Also good for outsustaining enemies, so you can get ahead.

Sprint is also good, because one of Aphrodite's weaknesses is movement speed. Getting away quickly is really important if you're out of mana, or all your abilities are on cooldown while being attacked.

Bracer of undoing can also be a life saver when being hit by hard burst. Also good if you wanna play very aggressively because of the CDR on it, which allows you to combo someone twice late game.


Tips for playing support in CQ:

Make sure you can outsustain and survive the enemy duo early game. Try to poke the enemy team with birds. Make sure you're ALWAYS connected to your adc. And dont leave them if you're not 100% sure they'll be fine.

When you start rotating rod of asclepius or shield of regrowth is really good for the movement speed so you can get to the other lanes quickly. Go to their lane, heal them if they need it, initiate if you know you can fight the enemies, or push objectives.
