Anubis - Master of the DoT

*This is my first build ever created since I normally don't consider myself to be much more than semi-casual (right between casual and hardcore I guess)*

Ok, I see there are not many very good builds for Anubis on here or at least none that are rated very highly so I decided to explain how I play Anubis. Note, I do not claim to be amazing at the game. Hell, I'm not even max level or anything. However, I do know what works for me. Whether it works by fluke or by my own skill is neither here nor there.

Here is what I will tell you to start off. Anubis is all about withering down your opponent until they are unable to continue. Do not worry if you get an enemy down to 10% and he flees. If he is out of your reach just wait. Death claims all in these fields. If you don't get him now you will later.

I find Anubis is best when in the dual lane. His ticks and strong root gives him a perfect initiation for most partners to go in on and you will find most success when working in a team. This is not to say he cannot venture out alone, he is rather vulnerable however so do not leave yourself without a clear method of escape such as blink or your mummify.

Though it is pricey I would suggest working on boots and then immediately going into Gem of Isolation. You want to try and mummify an opponent and place them dead center of your Grasping Hands. This will slow them while also dealing some good damage.
