What do you sell for dominance? or is that just if I am playing someone tanky?

Well firstly Shadowsteel is either right now built first sometimes on certain hunter's or if you situationally need it for the anti-heal (which isn't the case most times as a hunter especially when building crit). As for Dominance, in this build path Crusher is sold late for it.

However. The build paths i'd recommend would be either:

1. Deaths Toll (Embrace) > Crusher > Asi > Wind > Executioner > Deathbringer > sell Crusher late for Qin's

2. Death's Toll (Temper) > Crusher > Asi > Wind > Dominance > Deathbringer > sell Crusher late for Qin's.

I find the flat pen and passive from Crusher usually out damages Shadowsteel for first item.

I know the antiheal from Shadowsteel sounds situational, but nearly every god has built in healing or tends to buy an item with lifesteal or healing, especially when lifesteal items are getting buffed in Season 9, and when god's like Herc, Thana, and Clio have the ability to heal through your damage when built correctly. Also, the Shadowsteel buff in Season 9, makes it much more valuable imo.

I prefer buying Shadowsteel after ASI instead of Wind Demon, because I notice the amount of flat pen from Crusher+Asi applies early sort of negates Wind Demon's pen, which is where I find Shadowsteel with more power ends up making more of an impact.

I dislike Qin's because it tends to do less damage than crusher or dominance and doesn't work well with lifesteal.

Lasty, I believe it is worth mentioning that in some cases, it is better to buy 3k pot instead of replace crusher, because of the amount of power you give to crusher's passive, it makes your abilities hit extremely hard.

It does, especially on AMC, but Shadowsteel is a feasible option on some hunters (I wouldn't do it on AMC). And yes I do think Crusher is generally the best 1st item option right now.

Most gods aren't healing through your crit damage plus other people on your team should be the ones picking up antiheal in ideal scenarios.

Percent pen applies before flat pen so not really sure what you mean by this...

Only for ability poke. For AA damage it is 100% the better option lategame against tanks (especially ones stacking health) than Crusher. Also you're going to be healing enough with Asi + Death's Embrace regardless.

Only the percent from Executioner applies before flat, thats because its not technically percent pen, its a debuff.

and I made it pretty obvious that I don't keep crusher...

I will make a Qins alternative, because I do believe it is relevant when getting countered by spectral.

Also, I believe that death embrace is kinda troll. You lose too much AS and the healing from it isn't much. (like 44hp without any antiheal)

I know that about percent reduction, but flat pen isn't made inefficient by percent reduction like percent pen is (to an extent, though having both percent pen and percent reduction can still be good generally).

Also percent pen does apply before flat pen. You can confirm this through in game testing or checking the Word of Thoth. The pen order is (Stone of Binding) > Percent Reduction > Flat Reduction > Percent Penetration > Flat Penetration.

You don't if you go Executioner over Dom (Which you should be doing atm with Embrace), and cause of AMC's hives. And it's not troll, the sustain / health is obviously allright for fights, but it also comes in nicely for tanking objective. You can also check past pro play over last 2 months or so and you'll see embrace is fairly popular.
