This is just a thought, but wouldn't a Zeus Bruiser build actually work fairly well?

I mean once you get Boots and Demonic Grip, which coupled with his passive means he does some good damage, wouldn't it be good to get some Defensive items since he is normally trading AAs with other Gods?

He does not bring much of a front line presence in terms of any peeling mechanics. Late game you would be a beef cake with low damage, someone that can be easily ignored by the enemy and take care of you later.
