So we've decided Susano is by far the most complicated god in the game and we're on our way to theory-craft him to a pulp.

We've made a video that you can check out, but for tldr sake I'll leave some interesting tidbits we've tested.

Cast times - Part I: .2S \\ Part II: .3S \\ Part III: .4S

Ping makes it so you can't cast the next part of storm kata in the last .1 seconds (assuming you have 100ms ping avg) of your 3 second timer between parts. This 3 second timer however is not affected by the cast times.

Take another level into storm kata instead of ult at level 9 in almost all cases to max damage.
Make sure to auto weave to more than double your damage, you can also see this in our Susano Combo's video here.

We tested these with slo-mo video and macros to make sure the numbers were consistent and true to at least the tenth of a decimal.

We hope you enjoy our content and please show us what you think, it makes us happy to hear any critique. These videos and posts are for educating and creating unique number crunching content for you.

This is obviously the best way to get the most damage from your abilities.

However, because Susano's basic attack seems a bit slow, wouldn't it be better to get your damage more "bursty" by just using the abilties ?

Also since you are getting the basic attack movement speed penalty the whole time, would you be able to stick to your target for the whole combo with the only help of your passive and your 3 ?

Throwing your full combo on a moving target would be way harder, even more if the target has an escape.
Do you think you could include a combo to use when you know the target is going to escape ?

hey! the combos and auto weaving is definitely a kind of mix and match. In general if you expect an enemy to leap away then you can fit your 3 in between any of your storm kata parts. Susanos attack chain is 1/1/1.5, but since you'll only be using the first auto you'll have an average att of "1".

As for natural stick against a target that's running away; the auto attack has enough range on top of the fact that cancelling the auto animation is actually quite short, in any case where you're not severely slowed or they have some sort of speed buff like hel or amaterasu, then you'll be able to fit the combo.

And if the enemy is autoing back then they'll naturally also have the movement speed debuff and then it'll be no problem you'll stick fine.

definitely good thoughts! susano's all about the adaptability so feel free to pull bits and pieces from combos depending on the scenario. If we have some extra time for more videos we'll try to upload a video where we use these combos in context!
