Unable to connect to server?

Title says it all really, also can't connect to their website?

Servers are down for maintenance right now, ETA for servers coming up is roughly 2 hours.

can some1 tell me why SMITE gets freeze on the start of "authentication process" ? It gets stuck after this new update and wont move on

I've had that issue before, and there are two possible causes that I know of.

1. The servers are down, and thus, you can't log in.

2. It's just taking awhile, the solution would really be to just let it do its thing.

It could also be a firewall problem, though I highly doubt it, considering it just started happening recently.

Also, you should definitely make a new thread when you get an issue instead of posting on someone else's, unless the issue is exactly the same, and remember to be as detailed as you can.
