Twitch through Smite issues

So I have streamed my gameplay of Smite along with other games for a little while now when it came to my attention I can do it through Smite for wqhen i want to stream this game. I though awesome and tried to do so, that was over two weeks ago and i yet continue to try and alas nothing good has happened. I have become a deserter a few times because i decided to try and log in while waiting for my game to start up. Every time i try and begin it asks for log in, which i fill out with my Twitch info and then i clock log in, around 80% of the time it freezes but by the off chance it allows me to get by i get to the options, after fixing those i clock start and a small bar pops up on my top right saying my stream was on. I go to Twitch and so do my viewers and alas my channel says im offline, i inform them to wait for the lag between me and the stream and sadly as long as they wait, no luck im offline. I look on the streams within twitch and still not there either, what am i doing wrong and what can i do to fix this, i would like to stream through Smite but i dont think im going to get the chance to do so.

Honestly the ingame streaming device sucks so much, it makes your game lag to no end.
