My roles

Hi guys, new smite player here...

I plan to play the game fairly seriously, so I decided to start the game learning to support and jungle, the latter (hopefully) being my primary role.

Can anyone give me an overview and some tips for those two roles?

It's pretty simple.

The support role is to go into the duo lane (long lane) and feed your adc(attack damage carry) player kills. There's different kind of supports like tank supports and healing supports (a lot more than that). But that is your main goal...Early game. Late game, if you are the "tank" you need to initiate and take damage for your allies while they can get their max damage potential to the enemy team. Usually to initiate, you should have some good CC, but is not always the case. No matter what try to feed your adc kills instead of yourself, unless it's unavoidable. The jungler role is basically a role which doesn't lane but gets XP and gold from jungle camps and makes numerous ganks on situational lanes. Jungling requires a lot of map awareness and quick thinking. Basically, for XP/gold, mid camps are your main priority(other than the Gold Fury) and dropping buffs or taking buffs is usually necessary. The jungler will often solo the gold fury around level 14-20( Arachne...) Here is a link to an in depth guide to the jungle role.
