Mentor Needed

I am really just looking for a mentor that can help me OVERALL in Smite. I am decent at the game, but I still lack competitive skills, and I really want to go in competitive smite. I understand the basics of smite. My big problem in Smite is my item choosing. I never know what item to get, so I usually look up guides, which I think is bad. I want to be able to learn when to get certain items considering their team for all roles. I really just need an overall mentor that can introduce me to advanced builds, and someone who can enhance my roles.

Go ahead and add me in-game, my IGN is Firraria. Also, looking up guides isn't ever a bad thing, it just means you want to improve.
