I have recently started playing leagues, still in qualifying, and the one thing that I hear constantly is "how I'm bad and should learn to play the game". I've been playing casuals for over a year but League seems to be vastly different. I'm not particularly amazing at any role but I've played mainly Anubis, Loki, and Hel. I don't care what role I play but I would like to learn how to do it very well. Thanks in advance!

Oops double post!

I can't help you out in-game as of right now since I'm on vacation but I'll try as much as I can here. This video can help you a lot to get started.

The transition from casuals to ranked isn't all that complicated as many people think. Just know a standard leagues conquest match will take more time than a casual conquest match due to picks and bans as well as that surrenders don't usually happen as fast. Off the top of my head these are the main things you should know/do.

1. General knowledge of the meta and how to play conquest (100 games of con at least usually suffice)

2. A minimum of 16 gods mastered is needed but you usually need more than that. Also think about what gods people will most likely want. A good amount is 25+ mastered gods. Having common picks/bans mastered is good as well so you can trade with your teammates.

3. Be able to play outside your role. Respect the pick order! First pick has highest elo but after that it's random. So don't think you're a bad player or much better than your teammates :).

4. Communication - You can ask teammates for a role or god explaining your situation. Communication is key in winning also :)

Ranked isn't that complicated tbh, don't be afraid to just try it out. I mean if you're bad you're bad. If you're good, you're good! Good luck
