No Clan Advertisement (Rules Clarification)

Since there seems to be some confusion about the rules I am putting up this notice. There is no clan advertisement allowed on the forums. It falls under "unauthorized advertisement" in the General Rules & Guidelines.

This forum is meant for teams or individuals to fill out their missing positions or find like-minded individuals for their friends list.


If you are in a clan there are a few instances that you can advertise:
  • You may put a link / graphic for your clan in your signature

  • You may put a link / graphic for your clan in your guide so long as the guide mostly contains content about strategy, and is not just a place to advertise your clan

  • If someone specifically says in their thread / comment that they are looking for a clan, you may tell them about your clan and link to it

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
