Australian org ADAMANT eSports is hunting for SMITE players to fill various roles in a competitive team.
At this point in time, roles have not been solidified so no matter your play-style we may have an opening! Who we are looking for:
TEAMWORK: Smite is a MOBA; that means teamwork. If you aren't a team player, this isn't going to work out for you.
COMMUNICATION: Must have excellent verbal communication skills so your teammates know what is going on both during the game and out of the game. TEAMSPEAK 3 is required, download it before contacting me if you don't already have it. Decent practical usage of the in-game quick-communication system also appreciated [VVT] :).
EXPERIENCE: Smite experience is essential, but players with a strong MOBA/team orientated/eSports background will be smiled upon, many of the skills are universal.
COMPETITIVE: This team; with synergy, training, fun and a decent helping of eye-of-newt into the bubbling cauldron will be at the forefront of Smite eSports teams in Australia, of which this nation is sorely lacking. You must believe this and strive for this, or its all for nothing!
DEDICATION: I'm not asking you to give up your plethora of games, but we are expecting Smite to be your primary game you devote the majority of your leisure time to. Players are expected to practice till their eyes are sore and their girlfriends/boyfriends/wives/husbands/slaves require loving text-messages from the player or one of the general managers from the org reassuring them that their better-half still loves them and hasn't died after throwing a game by accidentally chariot-ing directly into the ********* of the enemies Minotaur while attempting to sing passionate dreamy Apollo powerballads.
All that being said, its all for fun!
As a General Manager the Smite team will fall under me, though I intend to play in the team as well. I'm not particularly interested in being the teams captain though, as I believe I still have more to learn before imparting wisdom and making the hard calls.
If the captain says 'Walter youz iz too noob' I will graciously step aside for a new player while still affectionately continuing my duties as GM. The captain makes the calls, ensures the team is practicing and has final say on his/her players in the team.
