{New God Concep} Soma, God of the Moon

Ok now hear me out on this. Soma's lore is...at best minimal yes, but i feel he has great potential to be a new god. He is the Hindu god of the Moon. I have a basic outline of what he could end up looking like as a Guardian, magical melee.

Lore:

Soma, the gentle god of the moon. Long has he watched over the mortal world, long has he fed the gods with his divine drink to fuel their immortality. Passively he watched over humanity grow from the beginnings of creation.

For every lunar cycle, the moon god presses the divine plants and forms the sacred elixir, from his chalice of the moon the gods drink and are revitalized. As the gods drink the mystical fluid, the moon wanes until it lays empty, dark, ready to be filled again.

As he lay in the heavens he fell in love with the beautiful twinkling Nakshatras, the twenty-seven daughters. He saw them neglected by their father save Rohini, their father's favorite, for he doted upon her. Soma distressed by the neglect the beautiful young goddess received, went to the great god Daksha and told him he paid his favorite too much attention, causing his other daughters to feel neglected and abandoned.

Enraged Daksha cursed the moon lord to wither and die a horrid and painful death. Moved by the passion and love Soma displayed the twenty-seven Nakshtras intervened and alleviated their father's dreadful curse to only be a temporary one. Soma married the beautiful goddesses and adores their shining beauty in the heavens.

Now with the gods warring upon the Earth, with the heavens clashing and the drums of war rage in the night, the moon lord descends the heavens to protect the cosmic balance. For the gods need their elixir of immortality now more then ever for the vigor and strength to wage such brutal, divine war.

Passive - Guardian Nakshatras

Ability-Buff Affect-Self

The twenty-seven wives of Soma watch over their beloved husband, granting him their protective power to sustain his life in the heat of battle.

Overtime The Nakshatras give Soma additional magical protections in the form of charges as he takes damage, after he gains five charges he can bestow them upon his allies when he uses Lunar Grace.

Ability 1: Moonbeam

Soma calls down a bolt of moonlight at his ground target slowing all nearby enemies within the radius for 2s. % based on Soma's stored charges.

Ability 2: Moon's Embrace

Soma wraps himself or allies in a shield of moonlight, blocking all crowd control affects and damage based on a % of his magical power for 4s.

Ability 3: Lunar Stampede

Soma summons his white horses and charges with them to trample enemies, stunning and knocking all back in the line radius for 2s.

Ability 4: Lunar Grace

Soma grants himself and his allies the Elixir of the Immortality healing them for a % of his stored charges and granting them a protection buff based on those charges for 4s.

This is a rough basis here, but you can see the line of thinking along here. He can be made into a damage tank pretty easily but predominantly he's designed here to be an absorber and medium sustainer type.
