Horus, God of Protection

Horus would be a great addition to Smite. He is the God of the Sun, War, and Protection. In spite of the new Dominion map, an Egyptian God is most likely to be added (This is a complete guess, of course).

I believe that Horus would make an excellent Support character. Currently, the best support character is Hel, but one Support character is not enough. Sure, characters like Guan Yu and Cupid have their heal abilities, but that's little compared to what Hel can do. This is why I feel that we need another Support character.

And plus, who wouldn't want a badass falcon God playing Support on the battlefield?

Any opinions on this? I feel that he would be a great addition to the game.

I'm just going to say that the next God is NOT Egyptian.

I'm sure they have the Beta-phase Gods planned out, but I would love to see Horus in the future.

We got Ra already, we don't need another sun god.

I just wikipedia-ed Horus. He's like an Egyptian god that takes on the roles of both Ra and Anhur. He also had a CRAZY WEIRD battle for dominance with Set, I won't go into it in detail, but it was strange.

I think he could be cool, but they would have to stray pretty far from the Egyptian lore to make him unique, especially from Ra since they are both falcon-headed gods.

I do like the general idea of a designated support character, although I doubt we'll see one within the first 30 gods. It seems HiRez is very focused on making SMITE action packed and putting a priority on support gods may detract from their immediate goals.

Who knows though?! I could be wrong.
