Cernunnos

God Type: Mage
Basic Attack: Staff strike has good reach but limited range

Lore:
Pantheon: Celtic
A long forgotten god of life, forests, and animals. He was once worshipped all over Gaul and by the druids which lived around Europe. Known as the "Horned One" he is often depicted with the horns of a stag and a purse full of coins. He married the goddess Beltane and throughout the year suffers birth, life, death, and finally reincarnation. As the god of life he is doomed to repeat this cycle with each year, just as life itself does. Wherever Cernunnos walks, plants grow. Where he rests, animals spring forth and multiply. His power is life itself.

Passive: Life Itself: Cernunnos heals over time and allies standing next to him will heal over time as well.
  1. Savage Growth: Plants sprout rapidly from underneath Cernunnos creating a circle of plants. Enemies passing through are slowed and damaged. The effect only lasts a brief moment.
  2. Power of the Druid: A tree rapidly sprouts up from the ground. Enemy movement speed and attack speed near the tree is slowed. Up to three trees can be planted. The trees remain until destroyed by an enemy or a new tree is planted(after three). If the tree is hit by savage growth then the tree will grow twice in size and the range of the slow effect will be increased dramatically. Allies within range will be healed a small amount over time.
  3. The Green: A large patch of grass grows over a large plot of land. The higher the level of the power, the greater the diameter. Enemies passing through are slowed. Allies have their attack speed increased. Hitting the area with savage growth will cause thorn vines to grow up from the grass. Enemies passing through will receive damage over time. The effect remains unless the area is assaulted by an enemy and destroyed. Only one green patch can be planted at a time.
  4. Call of the Wild: Cernunnos releases three animals into the environment that will hunt down and attack any enemies within range; a wolf, a stag, and an eagle. They deal little damage individually, but stay active until they are killed. If an enemy is not within range, they move around in a circle until an enemy enters their attack range.

Cernunnos is the master pusher. He isn't very good at attacking or killing his enemies, but he is good at taking control of the battlefield. Partnered, or in a team, he works best boosting his allies with heals and slowing the enemy. His signature on the battle field is the forest he builds wherever he goes.
