Important question; what is the story of Smite? Its the apocalypse and gods are fighting. Do you think when the game is released it will have more story or will the game be mostly how it is now?

I think they could actually pull off a novel once the game is released. The characters and the situation are very entertaining.

there is no story yet. Hirez made a video that supposidly showed the story of smite, but it was very short and incredebly vague so it didn't.
never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

Really? I thought this was what the gods did in their spare time to stave off boredom and settle disputes over the rules of Foosball XD
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

The story is just humans are starting to forget the gods, the gods are getting weaker. Zeus and his gods wanna kill the humnas, because of there selfishness and Odin and his gods want to save the humans so they can regain there favor. I think thats the story although for zeus I think his reason is bigger then just killing.

Where did you get that? Your saying Zeus leads the destroyers and Odin leads the good guys? Some of the gods are obvious like Loki and Fenrir. I think Mercury's lore suggests he is on the side defending mankind.
Arachne will be on the opposite side of Athena.

I'd spend money on a campaign with a story. Idea for those behind Smite.

MythofMercury, the video for smite shows Odin leading the humans against the other pantheons, while we see the Greek pantheon like specifically Ares killing them. I believe one of the Egyptian gods also kills them.

Athena, interestingly though, wishes to save them.

Well I don't know if its worth anything but this is what Ive got from the lores:

Good
Mercury: "Should he fail to deliver even a single order the balance could tip, and the time left for this world would be truly mercurial."
Sounds like he's on the side saving the world.

Chaac:
Since then, Chaac has chosen a life free of pride and selfishness, devoting himself only to mankind.

Evil
Most of the evil gods are obvious but Ill point out one that wasn't.
Poseidon: the glowering God of the deep seeks to quench his thirsty rage and plunge all the world in endless, wrathful seas.
