Hey guys, I googled around a lot and since I did not find any option to search inside this forum I turn to you, hoping you could help me.

Long story short:
My Smite does not patch.

The error message reads: "There is a problem with updating the launcher software. Please try rebooting your PC"

I did. Several times.

Tried turning my Firewall off.

Tried turning my Antivir off.

Tried both. Still the same problem.

Have you tried Reinstalling? I had this problem last patch. My antivirus deleted one of the files needed to patch. So it wouldn't let me run the game. I reinstalled and it worked fine.

I thought of that solution as well, but downloading 3.6 gb of data again grinds my gears.. ^^'
Maybe there is another possible solution. :)

Solved the problem by de- and reinstalling Hi-Rez and Smite. (including a download of whopping 4.4 gb)

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
