Splash painting is a way of painting that mixes quick free‑hand strokes with the sights and sounds inside the studio. Splash painting uses light. Sound to help people feel the moment. Some studios in the UK such as those run by Splasherist in Bath, Bristol and Worcester give splash painting sessions that include gong or string music. Splash painting research shows that music can change how people move. The changes are different, for each person. In splash painting classes participants wear clothing and then bring their finished splash painting canvas home. Splash painting is one of ways people try painting outside the usual studio setting.

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
