Just quick question as in the title....when game is released will our accounts be reset? I'd assume they would so the non-beta players will have even competition (that is of course if they implement anything for you to get when you level up like in LoL, although not sure how I'd feel about that anyway tbh but that's another discussion) but just curious if anybody knows or assumes the same?
Games don't typically reset moving from open beta to release. Levels don't really give an advantage in this game, just allows competitive play. If Smite wants to move into MLG type competitions, the last thing they want to do is reset the levels of all the players!
Also, the fact that they have a Ymir skin for people who reach 30 before release leads me to the belief that they WON'T reset levels. If they want to reward people for hitting lvl 30, I can't imagine them then punishing them by taking away all that effort spent.
They have stated before that they will not be re-setting the levels, which was previously considered during the closed beta.
I remember reading this when I joined (only joined in open beta).
