How many Gods/Mythical beings are there in the world?

And is smite planning to put ALL of them? Just like HoN having 100+ characters (I think, or maybe close to 100.)

Just thought I'd ask.

I kind of had this thought with myself a while back. Smite bases its characters entirely off of real gods, so that means there's a finite amount of gods you can include into the game. The only limit to how many gods are in the game depends on how many that exist, whereas the limit to how many champions you can have on LoL is based on Riot's creativity.

Of course, HiRez can implement their own gods later on, but that might cause some issues. Possibly.

It will be a very, very long time before HiRez exhausts the pool of real-world gods completely.

HiRez has barely scratched the surface in terms of how many gods there are out there. At the moment, they've been using just the most well-known ones. There's also the fact there are several pantheons that HiRez hasn't even tapped into, such as the Babylonians, Japanese, and a lot of others that people have been requesting. Don't forget that demigods and other mythical figures like Hercules and Bakasura are also playable characters in SMITE, so that opens up even more options for the developers.

I am hoping for an eventual flying spaghetti monster myself lol...

keep in mind though, there's some lines that HiRez will probably never cross.

For instance, I doubt that you'll ever see Jesus in this game.

...what would Jesus' move set be, anyway?

Buddha might never appear either, and a Hindu god or two that incorporate absolute pacifism.

i think similar to chang'e. water walking invincebility. 1 damage nuke. and a very large AoE ult.

And dont' forget, Jesus would have a resurrection ultimate
