Rage or Malice

Which better and why?

Statistically, Rage is better pre-deathbringer, Malice is better dps post-deathbringer. Since anyone who buys rage/malice will buy deathbringer, buy Malice.

Since you're at 50% crit with rage/DB, and 60% with malice/DB, the 10% per AA that doesn't crit simply isn't good enough for sacrificing the base stats, since you're critting more than half the time anyway.

On some one with quick attack chains (like Kali) I prefer Rage because I can get a lot of crits off.

The speed of your attacks doesn't change how it works though. Whether you're swinging a thousand times in a second or once in a thousand seconds, the way the math works out, it'll never be better to have rage over malice IF you have deathbringer. You'll actually get more crits off with Malice since you have 10% base more. If you get to 70% crit on Rage, to make it more crit than Malice, then you've missed TWO crits in a row on a greater than half chance to crit. And even if you crit on that third swing, that means your average crit chance is still only 60% - equal to malice, with less stats. Statistically, malice is ALWAYS better than rage if you have DB, regardless of attack speed.

I know, it's just I really hate overused items, idk why it's just a thing I have. Same with pokemon, it's so boring and cheap to face the same things over and over. (**** you Rotom-W)

Oh and I finally got my 3ds and pokemans btw. Got it for Xmas so just passed 5th gym. Currently Pikachu w/o Light Ball (Grrrr), Charizard, Vivillion, Shellgon (to become salamance, MIGHT swap it for my Gible), Greninja, and Lucario.

Otherwise, I understand your pain. I like feeling unique, but viable, and feeling like I'm discovering the 'new best thing' like my lovely solo lane chronos or being the first person to HEAVILY use polynomicon.

But in the case of rage/malice, there's simply no reason to not get malice if you have deathbringer, sadly :c
