Primary Abilities

Spawn Area
The spawn area is located on the edge of a desolate coastline. It consists of an ancient, partially submerged lighthouse surrounded by rocky cliffs. The lighthouse emits a dim, flickering light, creating an eerie atmosphere.
Cavernous Pathway
Players start their journey through a maze-like network of underwater caverns. These dark and winding tunnels are illuminated by faint bioluminescent plants and creatures, casting eerie shadows on the walls. The pathway is narrow, forcing players to navigate cautiously and be aware of potential ambushes.
Forgotten City
Upon exiting the caverns, players enter a large, partially submerged city teeming with Lovecraftian architecture. The buildings are crumbling and covered in seaweed, giving them an ancient and foreboding appearance. The city's streets are flooded with dark, murky water, providing a haunting setting for intense battles between players.
Eldricht Altar
At the heart of the Forgotten City lies an enormous, decrepit altar dedicated to an ancient Lovecraftian deity. The altar emanates a pale, otherworldly glow, and its surfaces are adorned with intricate, tentacle-like motifs. This area serves as a focal point for objective-based gameplay and intense team fights.
Abyssal Chasm
Beyond the Forgotten City, players reach the Abyssal Chasm, a vast underwater expanse filled with swirling currents and bioluminescent creatures. The chasm features towering cliffsides, underwater caves, and ancient ruins that hint at the unspeakable horrors lurking below. These treacherous waters pose a threat to careless players who might get caught in powerful undertows or attacked by lurking sea monsters.
Temple of Madness
At the deepest part of the Abyssal Chasm, players discover the Temple of Madness. This massive, alien structure is a spiraling, multi-level arena with bizarre geometric patterns, eldritch symbols, and grotesque statues. The temple's unsettling atmosphere amplifies the sense of dread and unease during combat.
Eldricht Void
As players ascend towards victory, they enter the Eldritch Void—a twisted, surreal plane where the boundaries of reality blur. This abstract and otherworldly space features floating islands, shifting landscapes, and hallucinatory illusions. Navigating this chaotic environment requires careful strategy and adaptability.

Ultimate Abilities

The Leviathan of the Deep ( Giant)
The Leviathan of the Deep" is a colossal sea monster that lurks in the darkest depths of the abyssal chasm. This enormous creature embodies the terrifying power and unfathomable size of Lovecraftian sea deities. It has multiple rows of serrated teeth, glowing eyes that radiate an otherworldly aura, and countless tentacles that writhe menacingly.

Combat Mechanic: Tentacled Terror
The Leviathan periodically surfaces, granting players a chance to damage it. During this time, it unleashes devastating attacks with its tentacles, creating hazardous zones that players must avoid. Players can coordinate to deal damage to the Leviathan's vulnerable spots, but must also be wary of its powerful counterattacks. Defeating the Leviathan rewards the team with a powerful global buff that enhances their damage output for a limited time.

These new buff camps and giant introduce Lovecraftian elements into Smite, offering players exciting and challenging encounters while embracing the cosmic horror of Lovecraft mythology.

Other Abilities

The Shrouded Guardians ( Buff )
Description:
Located in a misty and secluded section of the map, "The Shrouded Guardians" buff camp is protected by ancient, towering statues reminiscent of Lovecraftian deities. These statues are covered in overgrown, pulsating vines that seem to writhe with eldritch energy. The camp is guarded by a pair of grotesque, tentacle-laden monstrosities known as the Abyssal Sentinels.

Buff Benefit: Enigmatic Empowerment
When defeated, the Abyssal Sentinels bestow upon the victorious team the "Enigmatic Empowerment" buff. This buff enhances the team's ability to penetrate enemy defenses by reducing their magical and physical protections. Additionally, it grants a small stacking bonus to ability-based damage.
The Whispering Shadows ( Buff )
"The Whispering Shadows" buff camp resides deep within a dark and ethereal forest. The trees in this area are twisted and warped, their branches resembling the outstretched tentacles of ancient horrors. The camp is protected by spectral specters that seem to melt in and out of the shadows, whispering maddening secrets to any who dare approach.

Buff Benefit: Cursed Whispers
Upon defeating the spectral specters, the victorious team is granted the "Cursed Whispers" buff. This buff enhances the team's movement speed and provides a stacking bonus to critical strike chance. However, it comes with the drawback of reducing the team's magical and physical protections, symbolizing the corruptive influence of the Lovecraftian shadows.
The Maw of Madness ( Buff )
"The Maw of Madness" is a foreboding abyss located near The Temple of Madness. This camp consists of a massive, fanged mouth-like structure protruding from the ground, surrounded by swirling mist and tentacles. The camp is home to abhorrent creatures known as the Devourers, which are grotesque, monstrous beings with gaping maws.

Buff Benefit: Insanity's Hunger
Upon defeating the Devourers, the successful team gains the "Insanity's Hunger" buff. This buff provides a stacking increase to lifesteal and health regeneration, representing the insatiable hunger for power. However, it also introduces a small chance for their abilities to inflict self-damage, reflecting the chaotic and unpredictable nature of Lovecraftian madness.
