Surtr's greatsword is consumed by raging fire, boosting his basic attack damage in exchange for durability loss. For every attack landed, the weapon's durability is reduced by 1. Should the weapon's durability drop to 0, Surtr is disarmed until he repairs his weapon with Temper. Blazing Sword's effects are deactivated by Flamestrike and can be reactivated again with Firebrand.

Damage Bonus: 10 +5% of physical power per point of durability

Surtr plunges his greatsword in the ground, sending out 5 jets of flame in a 60 degree cone in front, damaging enemies in the area. Doing so smothers the flame on the weapon which deactivate Blazing Sword's effects. If the flame is already extinguished prior to using this ability, no jet of flame is generated.

Surtr engulfs his greatsword with fire, igniting it again if the flame was extinguished by Flamestrike and reactivates Blazing Sword. If the weapon is already ablaze prior to using this ability, Surtr gains bonus movement speed and critical chance for a brief period. During this time, Surtr's critical strikes heal him for 20% of the damage dealt.

Surtr plants an anvil before him, stunning nearby enemies for 1 second then proceeds to temper his greatsword. Surtr is rendered immobile while tempering and strikes the anvil with his mighty smithing hammer every second. Each strike repairs 2 durability and stuns nearby enemies for 0.25 second. The restored durability cannot exceed the maximum amount. Toggle this ability again to end the effect.

Surtr cracks open portals in a line in front leading to the other realms of Yggdrasil. The portals however are crude and only permit Surtr's basic attacks to pass through. Swinging your greatsword in front of one portal also causes it to appear and damage enemies near the other portals. All portals are created equidistant from each other and this distance can be adjusted from a minimum of 10 feet to 30 feet maximum. Your weapon gains additional properties for each realm/portal it passes through.

Realms:
Niflheim: Your attacks now slow your target's movement by 30% for 3 seconds.
Muspelheim: Reignites your extinguished greatsword. Your attacks now do additional DoT, dealing 2% of the target's max Hp as damage per second for 3 seconds.
Jotunheim: Your first attack on a target stuns it for 1 second.
Vanaheim: Your attacks reduce your target's magic protection by 15% per hit for 3 seconds, up to a maximum of 60%.
Alfheim: Your first attack on a target blinds it for 2 seconds.
Svartalfheim: Repairs the durability of your greatsword by 2 per basic attack landed.
Helheim: Your attacks deal bonus damage equivalent to 5% of the target's missing Hp.
Midgard: Your attacks heal you for 10% of the damage dealt
Asgard: Your attacks now deal area damage within a 60 degree cone.
