Goddess of the Hunt, Guider of Souls

Pinga is one of the deities from the Inuit tribe based in native america. She is the goddess of the hunt, fertility, medicine and is also a guider of souls to the underworld.

Passive Ability

Shepherd of Souls
Kills and assists on enemy minions have a chance to have their soul go to Pinga to take them to the underworld, permanently increasing her physical power. Kills & assist on enemy gods, that she has damaged within 3 seconds, will provide 3 souls. Every 25 souls will also add a stack of Soul Collector which buff her abilities.

Pinga projects a special arrow forward in a line that damages and stops on the first enemy hit, rooting and crippling them. If this kills a unit then it will continue to pass through. If this hits an enemy god then a portion of their soul expels out of the target and passes through to up to 3 nearby allies, prioritising gods, healing them if within range.

Damage: 80/140/200/260/320 (+ 40% physical power)

Root Duration: 1.25 seconds (+ 0.25 seconds per Soul Collector stack)

Cripple Duration: 1 second

Heal: 60/100/140/180/220 (+ 35% physical power)

Cost: 55/60/65/70/75 mana
Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds

Lodged Arrows
Type: Buff, Instant
Affects: Self

Upon activation Pinga gains bonus attack speed for a short time and allows her basic attacks to lodge into enemies that she hits for up to 4 seconds; successive lodges refresh this duration.

After the duration, or if activated again to cancel early, Pinga rips the arrows out of targets damaging and slowing all enemies hit; this slow increases based on number of spears lodged into the target; if there is more than 5 spears in a single target then they will be rooted for 1 second instead.

Buff Duration: 5 seconds

Attack Speed: 20/25/30/35/40% (+ 10% per soul collector stack)

Rip Damage: 40/80/120/160/200 (+ 65% Physical power)

Slow per spear: 20% for 2 seconds

Cost: 55 mana
Cooldown: 18 seconds

Herbal Grounds
Type: Area
Affects: Everyone
Damage: Physical
Radius: 15 (+ 5 per soul collector stack)

Pinga creates a herbal medicine and throws it at the targeted location that persists for a short time. Allies hit by the initial landing will be shielded while enemies will take bonus damage & have their damage reduced. For every 0.5 second they are in the area, allies will be healed and enemies will take damage.

Shield: 50/70/90/110/130 (+ 20% physical power) for 3 seconds

Bonus Damage: 60/100/140/180/220 (+ 40% physical power)

Damage Reduction: 15% for 2.5 seconds

Lifetime: 5 seconds

Damage: 20/25/30/35/40 (+ 10% physical power)

Heal: 10/15/20/25/30 (+ 5% physical power)

Cost: 65/70/75/80/85 mana
Cooldown: 18 seconds

Ultimate Abilities

After a brief 1 second wind-up, Pinga enlarges her bow and fires a large arrow forward in a line quickly, damaging all enemy gods it passes through and stuns them. Allies hit by this will have a herbal remedy enter them, shielding them and allies that are within 15 range of the arrow will be shielded for half the amount. The wind-up shows the path that the arrow will take to all players before it fires and Pinga is CC immune while channelling. Pinga also receives the maximum shield after casting.

Damage: 250/350/450/550/650 (+ 75% physical power)

Stun Duration: 1.5 seconds (+ 0.25 seconds per Soul Collector Stack)

Shield: 150/200/250/300/350 (+ 50 health per soul collector stack) for 3 seconds

Cost: 100 mana
Cooldown: 110 seconds

Playstyle + Combos

Pinga is a new take on the hunter class. Pinga, although a goddess of the hunt, was also very known for her support with medicine's alongside escorting souls to the underworld and encorporated these aspects into her kit.

Pinga is a more supportive, ability based hunter; focusing more on damaging from afar while keeping an eye-out for your team mates as well. I think she is great for her versatility, her clear sustain and control makes for a good alternative to a physical support; allowing for more flexibility within the duo lane.

Pinga's playstyle, similarly to her position in role, is very flexible. She can engage and dis-engage with Re-spiteful shot and also cover large potential zoning areas with Herbal Grounds. How she plays is based on your individual playstyle. You could go for high damage burst with penetration and cooldown or maximise her healing and shielding and go for more Cooldown and supportive builds.

To combo, a nice standard is to start up Lodged arrows followed by a Re-Spiteful shot to guarantee a few hits before ripping the arrows out of the target(s).
