Kuraokami

Dragon God of Snow and Rain

A magnificent beast to look upon, Kuraokami, along with his other half Takaokami withhold control over the blessings and curses of water.
When a raging flood rushes throughout the realm of the Sun, or a torrential storm ravages through the lands the people look to Kuraokami.
When the dirt is cracked, the crops are dying, and the blazing Sun is overtaken with rage, shining as harsh as it can, the people offer up prayers and animal sacrifice to Kuraokami. Often seen as benevolent, Kuraokami is no stranger to punishment, when spring comes he is fully capable of engulfing the world in massive tsunamis and never-ending rains. When winter arrives he freezes every drop of liquid that comes within his domain creating an uninhabitable winter wonderland. Now that he has arrived in the battleground of the Gods, he shall make it known how far his domain reaches and how powerful he truly is.

Within a certain radius, Kuraokami sends out droplet dragons to allies and enemies. The dragons will steal some mana from enemies and stop mana gain for a short period of time. Inversely allies in the radius will split the mana that was stolen and gain increased MPS fora a short duration. When the passive goals are reached each effect is increased.

Allies are also slightly blinded, they are unable to see terrain, however enemies and mobs are highlighted in the mist. Allies in the mist receive a small shield. When the passive goals are reached range of visibility is decreased, the slow effect is increased, and the shield health is increased.

Ultimate Abilities

4
Wave of Snow and Rain
Kuraokami takes the world by storm as he establishes his territory. He sends forth a rushing wave of snow and rain, freezing all who stand in its path slowing dealing a percent of damage(out of maximum health) and rendering them totally useless. In order to break out of the ice, one must use a certain amount of mana or wait out the full duration of time. When his passive is fully stacked, the percentage of damage taken increases and the target will continually take damage for some time after being thawed out as well as leech mana while the target(s) are frozen. He is CC immune during the time it takes for him to summon the wave, his hitbox still exists, signified by an ice cloud. When he lands back down a small wave of ice and rain surround him, immediately freezing those within the vicinity before going forward. Allies caught in the frost will have increased CDR for a short duration. Relics receive 5s of cooldown whether already on cooldown or off cooldown. Victims are impervious from all other damage while frozen.
[*] Tick Damage while frozen: 3%
[*] Duration of time frozen: 5s/6s/7s/8s/9s
[*] Time between each tick: .5s
[*] Mana Threshold: 40%/42%/46%/52%/60%
[*] Tick Damage added with Passive: .5%/1%/1.5%/2%
[*] Mana Leeched with Passive: 5%/7%/11%/17%/25%
[*] Increased CDR for allies: 2%/4%/8%/14%/22%
[*] Duration of CDR effect: 1.5s
[*] Cast time: 3s
[*] Mana Cost: 100/110/120/130/140
[*] Cooldown 110/100/90/80/70s

Note- percentages are based on max threshold (as in tick damage is from max health and mana leech is from max mana)

Some of the ideas behind Kuraokami

First of all, I would like to clarify that this is my first time making a God concept so if any details are rough around the edges or anything like that blame it on my lack of experience. Also I came back to smite recently so I have no idea if some of these ideas are already abilities. Now when it came to formulating abilities for this God I was looking for some kind of thematic element for all his abilities. After ruminating for a bit of time I realized that mana was very ummm water-like I guess I would say (or at least it was in my mind... maybe because it's blue idk). Using Kuraokami's extensive control over water as being part of his lore I decided to mess around with the concept of mana control to some degree. I went a little over top maybe with his ultimate but I tried to make it kind of balanced, making the potential of 90% of max health a hard to reach goal requiring a total of 450 team stacks. I tried to apply this kind of give-and-take rule to his other abilities, for example his 3 restricting the vision of his teammates as well. When it came to his ultimate I tried to give it this kind of actually stuck in ice feel hence why the trapped god can't be attacked but relics receive a short cooldown and to escape or thaw out they have to use enough mana to make the ice break or wait for it to melt. Also a lot of his team buffs involve mana, and I tried to make his mana draining abilities more powerful to make a lack of mana a bit bigger of a threat especially late game. Also to make up for his lack of damage abilities and focus on his supporting aspect I made his basic attacks a bit more impactful kind of like a pseudo-ability but in order to access it's full potential 450 stacks are needed. Of course some aspects of this god are probably very OP or very underwhelming but I hope that it works out if this god were to be playable. Also the reason I chose Kuraokami despite a lack of a presence from a lore perspective was how attention to the Japanese pantheon seems to be decreasing following all these new pantheons and not really becuase of any cultural connection I personally have (coming from a Korean) also his whole shtick is super cool like an oriental dragon that is icy and cool and all like what's not to like?
