As Hypnos deals basic attack damage to gods, they become affected by the waters of River Lethe. The more the waters are applied to them, the more his enemies start to lose their memories and fall into a deep slumber. Hypnos has a long attack chain with his 4th attack applying a silence. Hypnos has a max attack speed of 1.5.

Hypnos slams his horn down and drops poppies all over the battlefield. The poppies reside for a second and apply stacks of River Lethe's Will to anyone touching them.

Hypnos uses his control over River Lethe to will any of his opponents to sleep. Hypnos will force his opponents to sleep depending on the amount of stacks of River Lethe's Will. If Hypnos hits an opponent that is already affected by a hard CC, Hypnos whispers in their dreams about tales of defeat, stealing their power and giving it to him.

Hypnos summons two clouds of pure dreams that lift him into the air, one at his feet and another 35 units from him. Enemies within a 30 unit radius of each cloud have their own cloud of nightmares appear above them, dealing tick damage that is amped by the stacks of River Lethe's Will applied to them. Hypnos then has the ability to choose which cloud he will return to the ground on.

As even the strongest gods can grow weary, Hypnos pulses out his flowers all around him to slow down his opponents. These flowers slow enemies the more they move, applying a stack of River Lethe's Will every 50 units and increasing their damage taken by 2.5% for each stack. During this Hypnos transforms his poplar branch into a sword of nightmares as his wings turn completely black. In this form, Hypnos is able to throw nightmares at his opponents instead of his normal basic attacks.
