Huginn & Muninn

Eyes of The Allfather

As the ruler of both Asgard and Midgard, Odin has a great responsibility protecting both realms from harm's way. However, while nothing escape his sight in Asgard, Midgard is a completely different story. He cannot observe both realms at the same time, so he send his loyal messengers to gather information from Midgard and report back to him. Those messengers are the immortal ravens Huginn and Muninn.

Gifted with the wisdom of their master, every dawn the ravens fly to Midgard, seeking knowledge of everything that have happened from the beginning to the end of the day. When the sun sets, the ravens return to their master and inform him about everything they have seen and heard. For a long time they served Odin, feeding him with the knowledge they gathered and making him the wisest god in all of the nine worlds.

However, even Huginn and Muninn could be wrong, for they have failed to inform Odin on the upcoming Ragnarok, believing that the information was nothing of importance. Now, above the burning battlefield of the gods they fly, gather information for their master as they did for so long. But this time they will not let a single detail slip, for them every piece of information is valuable no matter how neglect it might seem to be, for they will not fail their lord again. Not now, not ever
