In Colombia, during the colonial era, a cruel and evil priest traveled through different cities of the country.

His travels were a harbinger of death and pain in every place he arrived, as he tortured and even ordered to execute anyone he considered unworthy of the church.

Poor people who could not give their offering were tortured; while the natives were executed as heretics and blasphemers;Always with the excuse, that he was head of the church and he did the work of God.

In his life he accumulated a lot of money and power. But when his death was near, prostrate in his bed, an angel appeared to him, who said:

- "You will receive the payment, for acting in the name of God"

The priest smiled, until he saw the angel raise his sword and say:

- "Did you think you were the head of the church? Now you will wander the world until you find yours"

With these words, the angel disappeared carrying the head of the priest in his hands.

Now, the spectre. of the Priest travels not only Colombia, but the entire region in search of his head. Known now as the headless priest or in Spanish El Cura Sin Cabeza
