Asterion

The Bull of Minos

Asterion is a brutal assassin that focuses entirely on sating his hunger by leaving nothing alive.

Difficulty - Hard

Passive Ability

Taste for Flesh
Asterion’s hunger only grows. Once he’s out of combat for twenty seconds, he gets a buff called ‘Starving’, marked by a change in his idle animations where he becomes twitchy and irritable, constantly sniffing at the air. In this state, when he enters combat again, he starts slowly taking damage.

-If he leaves combat while starving, he takes a chunk of damage and is slowed for 5s.

-If he kills a jungle monster while hungry, it won’t sate him, but he doesn’t get any of the in combat buffs against it.

-While starving and in combat against an enemy god, he has increased attack speed and lifesteal, movement speed towards enemy gods within 25m, and he knocks aside everything in his path.

-If he gets a kill, he’s rewarded with 30 seconds of a tiny boost to hp5 out of combat, but during this time he cannot get hungry again.

Primary Abilities

Labrys Toss
Asterion winds up for 2s, slowing himself 30 percent, before throwing his axe in an arc.

-Pressing 1 only winds up the ability. Reactivating cancels it and puts it on a four second cooldown. Basic attack to throw it once the charge is complete.

-If the axe hits an enemy god, they’re slowed, crippled and bleed for 2s.

-If the axe hits natural terrain, it gets embedded into it. Asterion gains 20 percent additional movement speed towards it, as he runs on all fours, but must channel for a second to pull it out. Until then, he fights with his fists, gaining additional attack speed but losing damage and all penetration.

Fearsome Roar
Asterion stands still and roars, disorienting enemies in a medium-sized cone in front of him, as well as soft blinding them (Xbal Ult) for 2 seconds. If he’s starving, he can move (though with a 50 percent slow) while roaring.
Vault
Asterion vaults over a wall. It takes one second to channel as he plants his feet into the ground. Any enemy within 10m of the initial jump is pushed away from the center, while any enemy within 20m of his landing is knocked up. He has two charges of this ability.

(20 CD per charge)

Ultimate Abilities

Unthinkable Rage
(Can only be used while starving.)

Asterion blinds himself to everything except the silhouettes of every enemy god, and gains even more moment speed towards them, as well as even more damage taken. If he hits an enemy god, he gains full vision of a 20m area around them, gains even more additional attack speed and lifesteal, as well as bonus penetration and a reduction t the basic attack movement speed penalty. If he fails to deal damage to an enemy god in this state, he takes 35 percent of his maximum health in damage.

(80s CD)
