But now! Time to explain the title. Yesterday I complained a little about how bad I was, but still I played again today. Actually I played just now. a short arena match. I was playing Cabracan and I did actually very well! It suprised me, I have to admit, but we even won o.o
I think I know why playing with my friends doesn't go so well. They're a lot better than me so they will be qeued with others who are more skilled. So compared to them I suck, but when I play with people who are on the same level as me, I can do quite good. (I've been at level 30 for a long time, just like the people I play with, but I mean a different kind of level. I hope you understand what I mean).
I just hope I'm right with what I just said. Otherwise it would mean I do suck .... =P

That might be the main reason.
I don't know for you, but since the beginning of the year, I am getting longer queue time when I play Arena in group of 2.
While it used to be a 2 min queue or less, now it's more often 3 and 4 minutes.
Maybe at that point, the MMR starts to be less equals.
you don't see a lot of
a pre-made is always on a different lvl then people that solo queue as coms make stuff easier and they know what to expect from each other
Don't forget that the system tries it best to match you with people your skill however they also try to not let you wait for hours. this can make it that way that you have the highest elo etc.
As a player who only play Arena and Assault, I'm pretty sure we are grouped by people of different MMR.
I'm level 30 for more than 1 year now, and in the last month :
- I've been grouped with people that didn't
- I've been playing against a full premade of really good players. I can't say their MMR was high, but they clearly weren't on the same level as us, they demolished us really hard.
- I've been playing with and against players in Diamond 1 or Master (last ones were Aror and Eonic).
Bronze - 0 ~ 622
Silver - 623 ~ 1090
Golde - 1091 ~ 1470
Platinum - 1471 ~ 1757
Diamond - 1758 ~ 2349
Masters - 2350 +
I would guess you're around the 600 ~ 1000 MMR points by the way you describe your matches. It's not bad ! But you can definetly improve ! ^^
