shame this isn't modern day, would definitely do a cool aid man "OH YEAH" when going through it(I do not want to do it in this situation since you know, guards, and they may hear you, but still would be funny)

"Get out of my way!" you scream, as you rush toward the guards.
The one who nearly shot you earlier drops his crossbow, putting a hand to his sword, but he only manages to draw it halfway before you slam your sword into his helmet, denting it.
He doesn't collapse because you grab him by an arm and shove him at the second guard, who nearly impales his fellow guard. They tumble onto the floor.
You glance at the third guard is, who is busy retching, smoke coming out of his ears. You step past him and keep running.
The courtyard is beautiful. A columned porch looms over a path that leads to a small garden, made of strategically placed flowers and trees and flowering trees to produce a pleasing, circular symmetry. It was practically a work of art.
You try not to enjoy trampling it too much.
You dash past a tree to hear a crossbow bolt thud into it. You don't dare take the time to look behind you, and you leap over a hedge and hear more bolts whistle past your head.
You manage to reach the end of the courtyard, not two steps away from the stairs where you were led.
The good news: You can see the main gate from there.
The bad news: It's locked.
The even worse news: It's also about sixty feet away.

-[x] Screw the key, climb your way out!
[x] Find some other way out.
- [x] Go upstairs. Maybe you can jump through a window, or something.
- [x] Try to lose them in the atrium and its rooms.

I don't even remember getting a key, but its still probably the better idea here and what a sensible human would do
