Official Pokemon Thread

Gotta' start somewhere.

I wasn't too huge into Gen 3 initially because that's around the time I stopped caring much about Pokemon, but I went back to it a few years ago when I got back into Pokemon, and I loved it. Along with the Gen 4 games, Gen 3 had the best storyline, and along with 2 and 4, it had some of the best lore.

Who agrees that Aphnex needs to roleplay as a (for slack, talking) Pikachu in this thread? :P

and I just started playing two months ago, only XY for me -_-

Quick Note: I'm not into this technical stuff yet, so I have no clue about a ton of things.


I started playing Pokémon on Gen 3! But I started to play for real on Gen 4( Diamond and Platinum), and then I played the games nonstop.

I'm stuck between three favorite Pokémons: Rayquaza, Hydreigon and Feraligatr. Rayquaza because my first Pokémon game was Emerald, and I bought it because I was like: ''LOOK AT THIS BADASS, I NEED THIS GAME''.


For Hydreigon, he was pretty hard to catch and to train. It took me a millenium to get a Deino, and yet I had to level him up to 64( my luck number). I think I developed the like to this Pokemon because of the time I spent training him, and how worth it was.


For Feraligatr... Well, I guess it's because I think he is the best looking starter of the game. He also has a pretty good move list( I think).

Who do you think is your favorite first evolution starter? Mine is Turtwig, he looks flipping amazing.

men is turning? Is that a codeword?

Uhh for me, either charmander or cyndaquil. I don't like the other *first evolutions* as much.

I haven't played anything past gen 3 since I never had a Nintendo DS. For me my favorite Pokemon are Waldren, Crawdaunt, Aggron, and Haunter. All of those guys are just awesome to my eyes. Seeing all of this Pokemon talks makes me want to find an emulator for 4 gen and onward.

Cyndaquil. Typhlosion is just way too beastly.

As much as I love water types, my favourite set of starters would probably be Treeko/Grovyle/Sceptile.
