Welcome to my first guide. This one I'll be creating on my newly favorite god Nu Wa. Nu Wa is a very powerful god that can be used in many different ways. In this guide you'll see how I play her and what her pros and cons are.
Shoes of Focus - These are very essential for the way I play Nu Wa. They give you great magical power, they give you a good deal of movement speed and the most important thing is the cool down reduction. The way I play Nu Wa is very bursty so the more cool down reduction you have the better. This lets you active her abilities a lot faster so you can do more damage in a shorter amount of time and lets her passive activate more often.
ORBreastplate of Valor and Chronos Pendant - These two items are AMAZING on Nu Wa! Use the breastplate of valor only if you're laning against a hard physical god or the other team has a lot of physical damage. Basically if you want to do more damage get chronos pendant, if you're worried about getting focused by melee gods get breastplate. Chronos pendant gives you a lot of damage and gives you more mana every five seconds. Breastplate of valor gives you physical protection and more mana overall. What makes these two items so amazing on Nu Wa is the 25% cool down reduction. Having this item and the shoes of focus make Pillars of Heaven on a 36 second cool down. That's almost as short as Arachne's ultimate which is incredibly fast. This lets you spam your abilities without worrying about timing an ultimate badly. I've even been able to cast my ultimate twice in the same team fight which helps tremendously. It also works well with pretty much every ultimate, especially Hun Batz and Ares.
- Bancrofts Talon is a wonderful item. It gives you a lot of magical power and it gives you life steal so you can sustain even longer. You also deal more damage with the less health you have.
- Demonic Grip is an amazing item on Nu Wa as well as it will give you more attack speed, it will make your basic attacks do more damage, and your abilities will get more powerful as well. Also it will make your enemies have a debuff that reduces their protections.
- Rod of Tahuti is a staple-point in any mage's build. This item will make enemies tremble in fear of you. It gives you 125 magical power, 15 mana per 15 seconds and it will also increase your magical power by 25%. This item is perfect for Nu Wa as she will do even more damage with her abilities and basic attacks.
- Soul Reaver is the final item I usually get. This item isn't always necessary but it can be very powerful if you use it at the right times. It makes your abilities do crazy damage, gives you a significant amount of magical power and gives you even more mana so you can spam your abilities without worry.
Passive:
Elemental Crystals - Nu Wa draws upon the power of the five-colored elemental crystals. When she uses an ability, it activates its corresponding crystal for 10s, granting her an additional bonus. When all crystals are active, Nu Wa transforms into her true snake form, refreshing the duration of all crystal bonuses for another 10s.
Ability: Buff
Affects: Self
Wood Crystal Bonus: 10 HP5 (Always Active)
What this passive does is this: She starts with 1 crystal which gives her 10 HPS. Each ability she uses including her ult gives her another crystal to a max of 5. When she has all 5 crystals activated she transforms into a snake, refreshing all of the crystals bonuses.
Fog - Nu Wa condenses moisture into fog at her location which follows her at 95% of her movement speed. She and all allies are stealthed while inside the fog. Attacking breaks the stealth effect. Enemies caught inside the fog cloud are slowly choked for damage every second. This ability also activates Nu Wa's Water Crystal, granting her an increased move speed aura.
Nu Wa's first ability gives a fog around her that stealth's all inside of it. Any enemy caught in it takes damage every second. It also activates a second crystal which gives her a move speed aura. It lasts for 10 seconds. You can use this ability as an escape very easily as you can't be seen in the fog unless you attack so you can dodge abilities easier as well. You generally want to keep this always on cooldown when near enemies or trying to get to a certain place in the map. With full cooldown reduction, this skill can always be kept up.
Clay Soldiers - Nu Wa conjures clay minions from the earth. These minions have health equal to 200 plus 20% of Nu Wa's maximum health and will push lanes and attempt to attack nearby structures. Using this ability also activates Nu Wa's Earth Crystal, granting her a physical protection aura.
Nu Wa's second ability is called Clay Soldiers. She summons a soldier for every rank of the skill (max of 5) that will attack nearby minions, gods, or structures. It also activates her third crystal, which gives her more physical protections. This ability is amazing for pushing lanes and getting yourself out of sticky situations. You can push a tower solo or use this ability when running away to have the clay soldiers body block enemies that are following you.
Flame Strike - Nu Wa conjures an intense burst of flame at her target location, stunning enemies and enemy structures for 1s and igniting them for additional damage every second. The damage increases the closer Nu Wa is to the source when cast, up to 1.5x at point blank range. This ability activates Nu Wa's Fire Crystal, granting her basic attacks splash damage that applies on-hit item effects.
Nu Wa's third ability is called Flame Strike. She conjures up a flame at a target location. Any enemy inside it is stunned and deals damage. If Nu Wa is close to the ability when cast, it does double damage. It also effects structures so you can do damage to towers and phoenixes, making them take damage over time as well. This ability activates Nu Wa's fourth crystal which gives her basic attacks splash damage. This also helps when initiating fights. I usually use this skill after I use my ultimate. It can also be used when escaping as it will stun an enemy, making them lag further behind you.
Pillars of Heaven - Nu Wa summons the pillars of heaven to imprison her enemies. Four metal pillars create a square with an electrical field. Enemies who pass through the field take damage and are heavily slowed for 3s. This ability also activates Nu Wa's Metal Crystal, granting her basic attacks increased damage
Nu Wa's ultimate is called Pillars of Heaven. She summons 4 pillars in a square that are connected with lightning. Any enemy that passes through takes damage and are slowed greatly for 3 seconds. This ability also activates Nu Wa's final crystal, giving her basic attacks increased damage. This ability is amazing to use when you want to initiate a fight with an enemy. It's also amazing to use in every team fight. With the cool down reduction in my build this ability can be used every 36 seconds. With a cool down that short there's no reason to not use it as often as you can. You can use it to discourage an enemy from chasing you, you can use it as an escape, you can use it to imitate or even push someone out of a lane.
Pros:
+ Can easily spam abilities without much penalty
+ Does a lot of damage very quickly
+ Is amazing in team fights
+ Can secure kills easily
+ Surprisingly tanky when all skills are on cooldown
+ Can solo push lanes
+ Can take down towers with no minions nearby.
+ Ultimate can be used very well with pretty much any god in the game.
Cons:
- No true escape
- Not extremely effective early game
- If you try to jungle it takes a while to get going
- Squishy early game
- Mana dependant in laning phase
Nu Wa in the jungle can be effective if you play it smart and safe. It's difficult to gank lanes without the core items but it can be done. She takes a while to get started but once you snowball and get some items you can completely wreck in the jungle. Nu Wa clears camps with ease once she has gained a few levels and gotten some items. When jungling against a Fenrir or a Thanatos it will be difficult but jungling against a Freya or an Athena should be no problem.
In team fights you're going to want to stun anyone you can with your Flame Strike and be sure to keep all skills on cooldown during the entire team fight. You should have no problem going against physical gods as your Clay Soldiers will give the team a lot of physical protection. Your ultimate will be able to contain the fight and even stop some stragglers from escaping. Nu Wa shines in every team fight, even if you are outnumbered she can still be dangerous.
All in all Nu Wa is a very strong god especially with max cooldown reduction. You may have to change some items around, I know whenever I go against a Hades I try to get divine ruin as fast as I can. Once you get that, you can destroy Hades in any lane. Nu Wa can fill many roles, she's even fun in the support role as well.

So the overall descriptions are pretty good, you could be a bit clear in some areas but I think it'll become more apparent if you have this more organized. So here's the spoiler for the codings you want.
I suggest to add in a lot more in teamwork. Something lacking in many guides today, and I'd also have to say my own. But, it's essential if you're making a full guide the player doesn't just know what to build and how to use the skills. They need to know what exactly to do in teamfights and laning phases etc.
Good luck, I'm not upvoting nor downvoting, but I will decide in the future when you update it!
Put pros and cons only behind introduction - people want to know what strengths and weaknesses a god has before they learn about them to learn if it's for them or not.
You should really cut down a lot of what you say in the skill section and replace it with useful info. You give a paragraph that cites what the ability does, then your own paragraph, but half of your own is saying EXACTLY what the ability already says. Replace the latter paragraph with useful info on how to use the skill well.
You give an info section on how to jungle, but not one for how to lane, which the guide is actually for? You need ot give someone a rundown on how to use nu wa in the lane and what to do.
Also elaborate on what to do in teamfights better than explaining what each ability does again. Explain how to use abilities, where to position, what rotation to use, etc.
You, by the way, don't use icons, you use pictures, which means we can't mouse over things and see what they do. Hence, the item section is incredibly hard to read. You should also add in more alternatives in case of certain team compositions.
Overall, decent guide, effort put in, but a lot of work to be done. Still, good progress!
And yesssss I am :D
I'd also suggest you add Polynomicon to the build, and remove Soul Reaver. It would be good as your second or at least third item, it's really amazing for Nu Wa.
Item explanations and skill section are spot-on, but the coding is very very sloppy and hard to read.
The video is a nice touch, and helps to make up for the lack of gameplay details.
I recommend you 1. add more gameplay details and 2. significantly update the coding, I've linked a guide to guidecrafting below, and also a guide to coding.
