Introduction

Nieth "weaver of fate" the first of the Egyptian goddess is a ranged physical carry. This build is focused on dealing damage with your skills, and setting up kills for your team. She can also be played somewhat like Artemis (basic attack focused). But on this build I'm focusing on using her skills for damage. Earlygame and midgame is mostly about staying in lane, pushing and getting farm for your build so that you are ready to kick *** when the teamfighting starts.

About Neiths skill set

Broken Weave (Passive)

Every time an enemy god dies or you use Backflip Neith gets a Broken Weave, using Backflip only gives you one Broken Weave at a time so if you have placed down one aready and then use Backflip again the first one will be removed. Broken Weaves can be used in combination with your skills to give them secondary effects like area of effect damage, more heal etc. They also work as wards and lasts for 2 minutes before they disappear.

Spirit Arrow

This is you main damage ability, combined with Broken Weaves it can do some crazy damage. The important thing to work on if you are new with Neith is to be able to double hit enemies (or even triple hitting) by hitting both the enemy god and a weave (or two) with the same arrow. On a squishy god like Loki, a double hit will take him down to about 1/2 health. If you get a hang of that you are well on the way to be a good Neith. The ability also roots the target, or targets if you hit a Broken Weave

Unravel

This ability is great for sustain and is good to lvl up if you are new with Neith. It gives you a good ranged heal and it can also be used for damage if you are having a hard time hitting with your Spirit Arrow. The thing many people don't think about on this ability is the 30 percent attack speed debuff , it is really important to remember to use this up against other ad gods like Anhur, Artemis etc.

Backflip

The main use for this ability is escape, gap closing and most important placing of Broken Weaves. It is always wise to hold on to this ability as long as possible if you opposing lane got any sort of pull, rot, jump, wall, hard hitting skillshots etc. This ability also slows the target it hits by 25 percent so it can be used to save you teammates if they are getting chased, so if your Spirit Arrow is on cooldown this can save your lanepartner.

World Weaver

This ability is what makes Neith being a good teammate, if you get it right. This ability is a global single target ability that also stuns the target for a short duration. This can also be used on Broken Weaves, but it is very hard to pull of. And Broken Weaves can be very anoying when you are trying to snipe an enemy from a far, because if they are standing right behind it you might acidentally hit the Broken Weave instead. Worst feeling ever when you play Neith. The way it works is that you or your teammates got to have eyes on the target you want to hit, there is a little charge up time to get the full damage from the hit so take your time and aim if you got the opportunity. To get this ability right you need to communicate with your team and having wards really helps you pick off low targets that are trying to return back to base. It is a good idea to tell you teammates to ping the map if they need your ult, and always notify when it is ready and when it is on cooldown. You can also use World Weaver to save yourself or your teammates, because of the stun you can cancel skills like Ares's Searing Flesh etc.

Skill lvling

Now I'm going to explain why and how I usually picks my skills. This changes depending on how the lane is going, but my main focus is to whip out as much damage as possible. Unless you are playing on the wrong server (NA for me) or for some other reason you are unable to hit with your skillshots you should always focus on leveling up Spirit Arrow.

Lvl 4 and Lvl 8

The two levels that sticks out in my skill upgrading is lvl 4 and lvl 8. Here I go for Spirit Arrow which of course isn't possible, but the idea is that you are going to save a point at those levels. So instead of getting a point in Unravel at lvl 4 and lvl 8 you are going to get both a point in World Weaver and Spirit Arrow at lvl 5 and lvl 9. This way you don't have to sacrifice your global damage (with World Weaver) or your in lane damage (with Spirit Arrow), but you will of course have a harder time with sustaining in the lane without your heal. So if I have problems with taking damage that I can't manage to heal effectively with Death's Toll I would get a point in Unravel on either lvl 4, lvl 8 or on both if I'm taking a lot of damage. But as long as you spam basic attacks you should be good with only Death's Toll and pots.

After lvl 9

If Spirit Arrow is maxed now, your focus is going to be World Weaver, Unravel and then Backflip

items for the different builds

Spirit Arrow Build

This build is all about being able to spam your skills all the time without going out of mana. This is going to be a good build for anyone who are good at placing Broken Weaves, so that you can do double hits with your Spirit Arrow. It also makes you able to set up kills for your team with World Weaver often. What Item you are going to build first depends on how well you are doing on farm. If you are ahead in farm (maybe got some kills, or just been better at lasthitting) going for the early penetration and cooldown reduction on Jotunn's Wrath will help you keep that lead. But if you are just having a normal farm you have to get Transcendence so that you are going to get your stacks before it is to late.

Jotunn's Wrath

The flat penetration is what makes this item so good early game. combined with the penetration from Warrior Tabi this brings you up to 30 physical penetration, which will usually remove all the physical defense on non tanks. This will help a lot on your damage output both in lane and the global damage on your World Weaver. It also lets you spam your skills to do even more damage.

Transcendence

This is the most important item in this build. It gives you a total of 800 mana when you are fully stacked, 6 mp5 which lets you spam your abilities as much as you want and it gives you a total of 74 physical power at lvl 20 with full stacks and Jotunn's Wrath. So it lets you spam your abilities as much as you want, and it gives you a lot of damage. The only problem with this item is that it is very expensive to build, so you need to do some Korean farming early game to get it done in time.

Focused VoidbladeFocused VoidbladeFocused VoidbladeFocused VoidbladeFocused Voidblade

More penetratin for you arrows, because of the lack of penetration on the Ninja Tabi.

Soul Eater

This Item is very good to pick up if you are getting focused by a Loki or other burst damage gods. The extra health might be just what you need to be able to jump away and the lifesteal is very strong combined with your high damage.

Deathbringer

This is always a good item to get on any physical damage god, the 50 physical damage and the extra critical hit damage gives you a huge boost to your damage output.

Critical Hit Build

This build is made to drain the life away from any enemy you would encounter with a constant amount of high damage critical hits, so this build is all about hitting you basic attacks. Combined with your root from Spirit Arrow and the mobility from Backflip and Fatalis you can literally run circles around your enemies while you shred them to pieces. The downside to this build is that you are useless at taking out towers, but you are a beast against enemy gods (tank or carry makes no difference).

Devourer's GlovesDevourer's GlovesDevourer's GlovesDevourer's GlovesDevourer's Gloves

This item is what makes you do damage, and it is crucial to get it as fast as possible to get the stacks up. It also gives you some good lifesteam, which will help you a lot if anyone on the enemy team picks up Hide of the Nemean Lion

The Executioner

This item is one of my favorite items on ranged ad carries, the attack speed and physical penetration is very important on this build because it is based on mostly doing basic attacks. The physical penetration is very good against tanks with a lot of physical protection, and the attack speed is helps with your lifesteal and critical hits when the build is getting finished.

Rage

This item doesn't give you much damage, but it gives you a lot of critical hit chance and some attack speed. Combined with the passive on The Executioner the tanks are going to start to feel the burn.

Deathbringer

When you get this item your build is about complete. All your wonderful critical hits are going to do even more damage. Not much more to say about that item really.

Fatalis

With this item you are going to have some crazy attack speed and combined with the passive from The Executioner you can melt through even physical protection focused tanks even though you don't have any more penetration items.

The World Weaver

This build is a combination of the "Spirit Arrow Build" and the "Critical Hit Build". You got the cooldown reduction from Jotunn's Wrath to be able to spam your abilities (but not the Transcendence, so you are going to run out of mana quick if you just spray an pray with your abilities). You got the Rage and Deathbringer for the critical hit damage, and The Executioner to deal with tanks and that extra attack speed. You also got Titan's Bane to make your World Weaver do more damage to tanks. The downside with this build is that you don't have any lifesteal, but it is possible to pull of because of the heal from Unravel.

Titan's Bane

The reason for picking up this item is to do even more damage to tanks, with all the penetration you get with this build it doesn't rally matter how tanky the enemy is. But because of your lack of lifesteal Hide of the Nemean Lion will kill you.

Rage

This item is great in combination with Deathbringer, but if there is popping up a Hide of the Nemean Lion or two you should really think about switching it out with a lifesteal item.

Warding

Warding is one of the most important things with Neith, and you should not just use the standard wards that you would get anyways. Those are at blue buff, at Gold Fury and at Fire Giant. I'll explain why I ward the way that I do.

Wards between the towers
The reason for putting wards between the towers are to pick off enemies that are trying to retreat back to base, without your team having to tower dive to give you eyes on them. You don't need to ward your own lane, but it is very important to ask the other lanes to do it. If they don't want to use 75 gold on a ward, you should try to take the time to ward it. But this will put you in a dangerous spot so be very careful, and only ward up for your neighbouring lane so you don't get to far behind in gold and exp. This wards are the most important wards for Neith.

Ward at blue buff
The ward at blue buff is very good to have if the enemy team has a jungler, since this is often a buff that is taken before going back at low health. It can also be good to have a ward here if you know the enemy team tends to go and pick it up when it is up. It is hard to get a kill at this buff, but you can get the opportunity so I would recommend getting a ward there.

Ward at Gold Fury
This is extremely good to have if the enemy team has a jungler that can solo Gold Fury. Then you can use the Gold Fury to kill the jungler. You just have to wait until he gets low on health, then you use World Weaver. If your arrow doesn't kill the jungler, the Gold Fury will most likely kill him when he is stunned and you'll get the kill. If you don't get the kill but manage to prevent him from taking Gold Fury that's a very good use of your arrow anyways.

Ward at red buff
This isn't a very important ward, but if your team got the gold for it I would recommend getting one. If you for example are playing mid and your opponent are low, but you are as well. Just go back, and he will probably try to go for red when he got the opportunity. Then you can just use World Weaver and get a kill, then go steal his buff if you are really mean. It is also a buff that sometimes is picked up by jungelers on low health. If you are sidelaning I would only get a ward at red if mid wants to do it for you. Since you probably won't get use of it.

Ward at speed buff
This to isn't a very important ward, but if your team got the gold for it I would recommend getting one. The only reason for getting it is to pick off enemies who are retreating through the jungle instead of under their towers, or to pick off a jungeler with low health.

Ward at Fire Giant
This one is very situational, you will almost never see someone trying to solo Fire Giant as early that they get really low on health. Unless you are up against a Vulcan. A lot of Vulcan players are obsessed with trying to solo Fire Giant. Place a ward at Fire Giant when the Vulcan gets to about lvl 8-10. If he tries to solo it you can just stun him with World Weaver when he starts getting low and the Fire Giant will do the rest. And If you don't kill him, he will with no doubt about it run away and reset the Fire Giant.

Gameplay (Spirit Arrow Build)

Earlygame

Earlygame is all about the damage with your Spirit Arrow double hits and basic attacks. Placing your Broken Weaves and not being caught in a bad position. And try to lasthit minions as much as you can, since you need a lot of gold. Also tell your teammates to "right click ping" (the yellow ping) the map when they need you to use World Weaver, and ask them to ward for you as soon as they can.

Lvl 1
Now you should either get speed buff or blue buff, if possible. Then get to your lane and use basic attacks until you get to lvl 2.

Lvl 2
Now you are going start placing Broken Weaves, but it is important to save your mana. Try placing them where the minion waves are going to walk, this way you can at least get a double hit on the minions. Don't use your Spirit Arrow unless you are at full mana, if you see an enemy out of position, your lanepartner wants to engage, you can get a lot of lasthits on minions, or if you can pull of a double hit on someone. And keep those basic attacks going, and always try to lasthit as much as possible.

Lvl 3
Now your Spirit Arrow is going to hit really hard, if you are able to get to lvl 3 before your opposing lane you should try to get a good double hit on them before they reach lvl 3. You will now do 320 damage with a double hit.

Lvl 5
Now you get your World Weaver, tell everyone on your team that you got your ultimate ready. And start looking for a good opportunity to use it.
You also get a point in Spirit Arrow and at this point it will be down right stupid how hard it hits.
You will, with a double hit do 440 damage. And your World Weaver will do 260 damage.
So basically all you need to burst down a squishy god is a double hit and a few basic attacks at this point, and you can finish him off with your ult.

Lvl 9
Now you can get a point in both Spirit Arrow and World Weaver. At this point your damage is going to be scary again. Spirit Arrow will hit for 680 damage on a double hit and don't forget about the root which now is 2 seconds. And World Weaver will do 325 damage.
So keep double hitting as much as possible at this stage and harass as much as you can on the carry.

Midgame

Now you at least should have Warrior Tabi lvl 3, and if you have been good at lasthitting and gotten some kills you should have Joutunn's Wrath or Transcendence.

Your job as Neith will be to look for opportunities to use your World Weaver and communicate with your team on warding, ganks etc. And keep pressure on your lane and farm as much gold as you can, for either Transcendence or Jotunn's Wrath.

From now on out you are going to lvl up Unravel and World Weaver, so now you get a lot more sustain in lane and you don't have to be as careful as earlygame.

If you do good in midgame you are going to get enough gold for for either Soul Eater, The Executioner or Deathbringer.

Lategame

Now you are going to commit to teamfights and trying to keep enemies out of the fight with your root and stun from Spirit Arrow and World Weaver. Broken Weaves are very important in teamfights so try to place them if you think there is a teamfight coming up at Fire Giant or something. But be careful that you don't waste your Backflip at a time when you might need it for an escape. Keep wards up and don't over extend if you are alone, try to keep your head down and farm up gold to finish the build.

Gameplay with other builds

The gameplay is going to be about the same with "The World Weaver Build", just be a bit more careful with your mana and keep your eye on the minimap for easy kills with World Weaver.

with the "Critical Hit Build" you are going to focus on basic attacks, with this build double hitting with the Spirit Arrow isn't that important. With this build it you are mostly looking to root people then go do some basic attacks to bring them down.

Damage with full build (Spirit Arrow)

Spirit Arrow

It will do 1014,72 with double hits and 507,36 damage with single hits and root for 2 seconds.

Unravel

It will do 377,36 damage and heal form 115,13 to 345,39 plus 230,26 pr Broken Weave you hit and the 30 percent attack speed debuff will last for 6 seconds.

Backflip

It will now do 407,36 damage and slow by 25 percent for 4,5 seconds.

World Weaver

It will do 771,03 damage and stun for 1,5 seconds.

How damage mitigation works:

Formula: Original damage*100/(100+amount of protection-amount of penetration you have)(- Mark of the Vanguard) = damage after protection mitigation.

Summary

When I started to play Neith I used to go with the Critical Hit Build, but now the Spirit Arrow Build is how I usually build when I play her. The World Weaver Build is very hard to pull off, but when you get a game where you can pull it of it is so much fun.

The Critical hit build is very good vs gods and especially against squishy gods (2-3 shotted, with 2,5 attacks pr second), but it is terrible at taking down towers etc.

The Spirit Arrow Build gives you good overall damage vs both gods and towers, but the best part of it is that you are able to spam your crowd control abilities.

The World Weaver Build makes you hit like a truck and you have low cooldown. But you have low health and no lifesteal so you have to rely completely on Unravel for sustain.

Thanks to TheShrike, woahimmexican, The9813 and Flareb00t for helping with the protection mitigation math!

Please let me know what you think about the build :)

cheers Marki

Yeah this guide was made before Bloodforge :P

So it is pretty outdated x)

I would try out Qin's Sais if I was you, and see how it works (haven't played Neith in ages. But if you spam Spirit Arrow I think the passive from sais would be really good for you ;)

played a few games with the spirit arrow build and really like it ! is much better then crit build imo , since neith doesnt have steroids. the only item i change is the Soul Eater - imo Bloodforge , Rage or eye of retaliation suit this build even more , at least with my playstile.

very informative , nice editting (even though the eyes might hurt a bit with that many colors and picture spam) , so an upvote it is.

thanks!

Plenty of information and tips as well as very nice formatting. I'm terrible at conquest so I don't expect to do fabulously, but I'm going to try out the critical hit build because it looks really fun. Thanks for publishing!

Gonna try to write some about how to ward, different gameplay scenarios etc.

to skip the point in Unravel is purely situational (gonna write some more about that to). It is very good when your up against squishes, but if you are up against a lane that is tanky I would go for a point in Unravel at lvl 4 and 8 so that you can sustain and just farm with basic attacks.

thanks, Ill try to work one the build as much as I can and try out some new stuff as well.

Ohw, i get it. That's kinda good, even though i don't really like doing that because i also like Unravel, it gives you much health. I also like that you give how many damage each skill give. I suggest you give ability and potions

thx mate :)

Ill try to change out the executioner on my next game and see how it goes.
The problem with the normal build is that I do jack**** to towers etc, usually get like 30k playerdamage on games over 40 min with it though :P

and the reason for the skills being messed up, if it is the skillbuild? Is that on lvl 5 and 9 I usually get a point in nr 1 and 4, but wasn't allowed to do that here :(

really appreciate the feedback!

Good build. I think the experimental build is better than the normal one. I think you may change the executioner with Titan's bane, it will make her ultimate more useful. The rest are good. Personally, I like to change the soul eater with Golden Bow since it is already end game. Oh yeahh, your skill is pretty mess up there. Keep up the good work
