Hey, My name is Golgor and this is my VERY FIRST GUIDE ON SMITEFIRE!! I'm going to do this one on Anhur: The Slayer of Enemies. I as Anhur in Arena mode, but he is ok in Domination. I won't be saying anything about Conquest in any of my guides, becuz i personally don't like it. II find that Anhur works best as a support/hunter/tank who is on the sidelines assisting allies or picking off annoying enemy minions. Now I shall jump right into his skills.
I will discuss each of his skills in numerical order, but won't discuss item builds or other stats since I find it confusing.
1. Shifting Sands
Anhur summons an obelisk that slows enemies while increasing the speed of allies. NOTE: this also increases Anhur's attack damage if he is within a close enough range. I usually upgrade this ability second.
2. Impale
Anhur throws his spear with all his might. This is the ability that I usually upgrade first. Now consider that at first, this attack might not do much. But at maximum strength it can knock out an entire wave of minions.
3. Disperse
Anhur leaps into the air landing at his ground target location, thus scattering enemies. I upgrade this last. This ability is good for jumping into a fight or fleeing harrassment.
4. Desert Fury
Anhur hurls many spears at lightning speed which pass through all obstacles. I upgrade his ult ASAP. This skill is powerful and good to kill a fleeing god.
I decided to do Anhur as my first guide because he was the first god I purchased w/ favor and I know him fairly well. All for now, so please comment and criticize this guide but remember its my 1st one. You may also friend me in game.
Bye!

How to make a guide: Getting started
TL;DR, if you're not serious about it, don't do it
If you read carefully I stated that I was going to talk about stats or items becuz I don't understand them. By the way, i'm 15 not 8, and this is my first guide ever!
Just because this is your first guide (and I wouldn't even consider this a guide) doesn't mean that you can only put a good 10 minutes (if that) into a guide. Would you like to see my first guide? I definitely put more than a few minutes into it. Also, if you don't understand item builds, stats, etc., YOU SHOULDNT BE MAKING A GUIDE, you should be the one reading guides from actual competent players with a decent knowledge of the game mechanics. If you don't want to be insulted and critisized, either put some amount of effort into your work instead of a half ***ed attempt at a "guide" and try to pass it off as a quality piece of work, or don't make guides. And I'm not even going to get into the lack of bbcode, as you don't even understand the information you're trying to put out.
Tl;dr: If you don't understand game mechanics, can't use bbcode, don't have the knowledge to put up a comprehensive guide, and/or don't have more than 10 minutes to make a guide, YOU SHOULDNT BE MAKING GUIDES
Edit: oh and I also forgot to mention the complete lack of an item build, even the worst guides usually have some (even if it is bad) item build, but you went above and beyond and made this guide even worse. And you also have NO idea how to max skills, or even what levels you get your ultimate
If you're going to include 0 builds, 0 tactics, and 0 advice, and provide only a skill build and definition, at least make sure they're complete, or at least, correct >.>
