Suggest reading my Conquest guide as a primer. It's a lot of reading (target the things that interest you the most, if you'd like), but you should be able to get a lot out of it.
If I still played Xbox Smite I’d happily volunteer. I switched to PC for better competition. I do suggest reading Bran’s Conquest guide though. On top of that, DukeSloth has made a few guides regarding how to play Conquest so those could be helpful as well. Aside from that try to tune in to some of the Pro’s streams as they always stream ranked Conquest and just watch how they play.
