A member of our site since April 2017, Gulf was enthusiastic in his commenting as well as guide-writing, creating his first and longest-maintained guide, "Kuzenbo, King of the Kappas!" less than a month after joining. That guide eventually won in our Season 8 Guide Contest. He was also of great help in providing a solid combo of a keen eye and strong game knowledge as a judge in some of our other contests over the years.

Alright, here's a quick vid going over my new toy, the Azeron Classic. Tried to make it brief and cover its features, adjustability, and customization, along with a quick look at the software.

Previously I was using the Razer Orbweaver keypad. Reason I wanted to get this is because the Razer keypads have had fairly short lives. I've already gone through 1 Orbweaver (~1.5 years) and a Tartarus V2 (6 months)...thumbpads broke...and I was hoping to get something that might last longer once my second Orbweaver dies (thumbpad already starting to go and it's been about a year).

As an FYI, the way I have this set up, I can use this and my mouse (Corsair MMO w/ 12 thumb buttons) to handle all general VGS requirements in SMITE.

My key setup:

2 high buttons (middle and index): Esc, T (skill level up ult)

4 buttons above: 1, 2, 3, 4

In the finger rest section:

Push forward: Q, W, E, R (W, E, and R are skill level up for skill level 1-3)

Thought I'd post a list of games I'm playing and some thoughts.

HOTAS (Hands-on Throttle and Stick)

I don't have an actual throttle yet, but I picked this beaut up a bit ago.


It's been great so far...a lot of complaints of sticks on the market are regarding their reliability, or lack thereof. From my research, it seems this brand is quite reliable overall, and this comes at a fair price point (Premium Right has a base price of $150, then add shipping). A lot of the more mainstream brands / products out there are boosted in price (sometimes 2x their original retail) due to low stock and people buying/scalping (same as video cards, PS5s, Switches, etc.). These include Logitech's X52 and X56 (throttle + stick) and Thrustmaster's T.16000M. There are, of course, higher end products, but I'm not willing to spend $500+ at this point =P

Hey everyone,

DV-8 and I had been talking about doing this for quite a while, so as a first run, we've done an unscripted video review of the recent 7.6 (Bonus Balance) and 7.7 (Mid-Season) patch notes, along with commentary with our thoughts. We need some practice...or at least I do.

A lot of rambling ensues, and Draisaitl & Stuke99 join as we're reviewing to help us ramble even more and especially talk about the new meta item, Stone of Gaia. (Gulf even makes a very brief showing before leaving like he's got Bumba's Mask) I'm sure Prism is going to be upset about not being included.

Based on a couple (this and this) of Cernunnos Support builds we've seen pop up in the last few days, and especially after boogiebass was so positive in his comment about what - compared to meta - is a fairly troll concept, I proposed trying it out.

This proposal contained the stipulation of having DV-8 as my Carry, for 2 reasons:

1. He made me support him as Loki Carry in a recent match, so he sort of owed me
2. He's a solid player and it would give this experiment a better chance of success

Needless to say, right now I'm 2 for 2.

Cern Support Game 1 (DV-8 as Artemis)

Full 5 man team w/ Taco, Prism and Draisaitl that was nice and allowed me to do this. Allowed is the correct word, because the tone coming from them was...let's just say "hesitant."



As you can see, our entire team had a lot of success. I accidentally "secured" at least a couple of kills that I shouldn't have last-hit. Not like DV-8 needed the kills anyway, though.
