I heard RagingStorm isn't too keen on seeing Chang'E enter SMITE.

Something about her not being a real god or something like that...

Last time I checked, Arachne, Ymir, Fenrir, Bakasura, and Hercules weren't gods either. Not to mention the Chinese definition of a god isn't quite the same as the western meaning, so there's that too...
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

China and japan a very much similar in the way of their gods being more like deities and demons.
I really think hi-rez shouldnt have been so specific in their theme making it gods it should have been a little more vague like an immortals or mythological

No no, it's because she didn't really... do anything.

Most Gods enter Smite because they did something note-worthy, such as a battle. Chang'e didn't really do much to be considered note-worthy.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
