Hi there!Say hello to our new Chinese Goddess.
All hail Nu Wa, Creator of Mankind, Guardian of Heavens and the First Chinese Ruler (well, not the ruler, but this ruler:)
This guide revolves around how Nu Wa's basic attacks, with the help of her 5 elemental crystals, burn the life out of you.
Why Nu Wa?Great sustain (HP5 Wood Crystal passive) Bottomless Manapool Trapping Power is just.... awesome! Ultimate has high synergy with other Gods' skills She is a free Mage Golden Bow She has a freaking stealth Nice Speed Boost Her Clay Soldiers are just pure tankiness while you bring down a turret all by yourself She can stun turrets!!!! She can use abilities while running, without delay She is a Lamia She is beautiful |
Wynaut Nu Wa?There are just other Gods who have better skill kit Not Ranged enough Too reliant on basic attacks Must make sure there are no minions when killing enemy Gods, or you can't hit them if they are far enough (That's why her Clay Soldiers is here) Need practice Has to time abilities to get transformed into a Lamia |
"What items to buy?" Most will will ask.
Well, here's it.
Starter item. Super dooper great sustain with her Wood Crystal HP5 passive and her deep manapool. You don't need to visit the store frequently in early-game.
Get this shoes. Why not Shoes of the Magi? You benefit greatly from CDR, you will get a lot of MPen. late-game, so, don't worry about MPen. now, besides, MPen. of enemies aren't too much of a threat that early. With the CDR, you can be sure that your Pillars of Heaven is always available during ANY fights. Also, assuming that your Mana is infinite, your Fire Crystal will always be active, as with the CDR, your Flame Strike's cooldown is only about 10 seconds.
Self-explanatory. Just too awesome to give up. Hit the enemies with Flame Strike and follow up with your enhanced basic attacks. Or even summon Clay Soldiers and whack the life out of your enemies, while you hide behind your minions.
Your MPen. is here.
Conjure your Mist. You will have a Speed Boost (Water Crystal) WHILE applying a Speed Debuff to your enemies. This makes chasing down enemies or escaping far more easier.
An item made just for Gods like Nu Wa, Zeus, etc.
GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER GODLY POWER.
Hit the tanks as soon as this cooldown is off. That will take 15% of their health off with no difficulty.
It is nice, but you have to be like Kamikaze to activate its passive. (Plus, you don't have that much Health to waste, so, I don't really recommend it)
HUGE AMOUNTS of MPen., viable if the enemy has 2 or more Tanks.
Good if the enemy team composition has a lot of Mages. You can go both offensive and defensive. Cheers!
Magi's BlessingYou don't know how many times this item has saved you from certain deaths. It can absorb any hard CC.
Goes well with Health items, such as Magi's Blessing, adds Magical Power while being tanky.
Nice CDR (Your Pillars of Heaven is sure to be off from cooldown in EVERY fights). Also gives you tankiness.
The extra Mana from Breastplate of Valor and Ethereal Staff adds more Magical Power, in addition to the already-deep manapool of Nu Wa.
Warlock's SashYou could buy it, for the Health and Mana and Magical Power.
Universal active. Removes any CC.
Escape active. RUNN!!!! But has a long cooldown.
BlinkYou can use it in conjunction to your Fog, but be sure not to receive or deal damage in the last 3 seconds.
You can be a ninja with this on Nu Wa, your enemies will not be able to know where you are.
The more sustain, the merrier, Fog and Blink to behind the enemy lines, Aegis Amulet and Pillars of Heaven. INSTA KILL!!!!
Elemental CrystalsHoly mother of snakes (or humans, in this case)! Snakes too stronk.
Time all your abilities right and you will get your true snake form. Remember, your Crystals are active only for 10 seconds from the execution of your abilities. Transforming into a Lamia refreshes the duration of the crystals, giving you 10 more seconds to whack the enemies with your crystals.
Also, nice HP5 Wood Crystal passive, eliminating the need of pots early-game.
FogBoo! Imma ninja!
She summons a cloud of fog that stealths you and your allies, also giving you a Water Crystal, which increases your Movement Speed (you move like Bakasura at max level).
Coupled with Gem of Isolation, you can pretty much chase down an enemy without difficulties. Also, it has a little extra Damage Over Time in it.
But the skill is not so important as other, so I max it last.
Also try using Fog and Blink to behind the enemy Gods for a surprise attack.
You can create your own wave of minions!
DO NOT use it to kill minions or Gods, their damage are negligible. Use it mainly for tanking. It also scares the wits out of enemy Gods when you summon 5 Clay Soldiers out of nowhere, then you can trap them using Pillars of Heaven and slowly peel them down. Besides, it also gives additional Physical Protection through Earth Crystal bonus.
Flame StrikeNote that it has a delay before exploding. Also, the damage increases as you place it nearer to you, up to 1.5x at point blank range, but YOU DO NOT have to necessarily always put it at point blank range. As it explodes, it can stun enemies AND STRUCTURES for 1 second. TROLOLOLOLOL!!!!
You can use it to initiate battles, make us of the 1s stun.
It can be used also as an escape. Put it at point blank range (or maybe a little in front of you) while running away. By the time your enemy God(s) arrive there, it should've detonated, stunning them for 1 second AND ALSO igniting them for more damage. The Fire Crystal bonus also serves as a Mage Golden Bow. Isn't that awesome?
Pillars of HeavenNotice the cooldown? The cooldown is just so short that is it almost always available in teamfights. If you add a Shoes of Focus, then you can rest assured that the Pillars are always ready.
Note, though, that it also has a delay.
The Pillars can be used as an Initiator, Finisher, or Trap, or even Escaper. You can trap whole team inside, those who escape will face punishment (substantial Damage and also Slow). Also, raw damage is also provided by the Pillars. Its Metal Crystal bonus provides 2x basic attack damage. (Ouch!)
Pillars can also block movement, and act as Anhur's Shifting Sands.
Use the Pillars to finish your Crystals collection and be transformed into a Lamia.
The Pillars have great Synergy with other Gods' skills, as I said earlier.
Ask Ymir to Ult in there and you close them in with your Ult (you can add Fog in it for more confusion). INSTA KILL!!!
Ask Zeus or Poseidon to ulti in there. INSTA KILL!!! They won't be able to do anything.
Ask Fenrir to Ult and carry your enemy to and fro across the electric field of Pillars of Heaven. That is pure.... OVERKILL!
Remember to interweave your skills with basic attacks to ensure maximum DPS.
My preferred skill path is:
Fog -> Move nearer to enemy like a ninja -> Basic Attack -> Clay Soldiers -> Flame Strike -> Basic AttackSSSSSS -> Pillars of Heaven (By this time, you should get some kills or is running)
Now, if Conclusion is not here, it would feel weird, no?
If there is an Intro but no Conclusion, it is truly weird.
I like Nu Wa the most compared to other Gods.
Why?

This guide is bad. Not terribly so, but still bad.
Firstly, it lacks gameplay. All you put is an order of skills which doesn't even apply most of the time. Nothing about laning, what role you are in (mid, solo, etc), working with teammates, etc.
You also need to give better reasons to buy the items. For instance, Shoes of Focus, your cooldowns are already low, so I feel that there is no point to getting more CDR. And you give no mention of what you are doing while buying these items.
Also, the item order feels disjointed. Don't you want to rush Telkhines Ring for the waveclear?
Furthermore, this guide feels like it's copying mine at parts. Like the Rod description, or "Why Nu Wa?" section.
Overall, I'll downvote, but I'll be checking in on this occasionally.
But I can't really find anything more than pushing and participating in teamfights in the Gameplay section, and I included ways to use her skills in the Skills section. But well, I will improve on the gameplay section. ^.^
Hmm, for the Telkhines Ring, I must say, I have fared well most of the time without it.
And for the copying, I must apologise, I didn't read your guide and did not realise that it was the same thing. Sorry.
Anyway, thanks for your time. ^.^

A lot of good information between the child like excitement. Your item choices are clear, your progression and skill path is clear. A +1 from me.
can you please clean this up so you don't sound like a puppy?
