Notes I used to not like flame forged first item, but after messing around with it on Mulan and going to try it out on Horus ive come to love it.

stone of binding early is disgusting, although you could always swap SoB and Glads around if youre fighting a super aggro warrior.

Glads is.. just an amazing item right now, cant say anything bad about it.

genji is for the magic prots and lack of cdr you really get with this set up.

Heart seeker is where this really shines, absolutely chunking enemies down when executing the full combo.

Horus's Skill Order Notes As a Horus ive never felt my ult has been super needed, its definitely useful at times, but overall ive never had a time where i said "i wish i had my ult for that fight", and this is definitely the case for Solo.

Updraft is your main clear ability, the early game isn't the easiest as Horus, as his clear is... lacking. but as long as you hit the archers with both parts its good enough.

Fracture is easily my favorite of Horus's kit, it can hit really hard against enemy gods and does a cleave upon connecting the dash. i like to initiate a fight with my 2, followed by my 1 and making sure i hit the blast afterwards, can easily one shot squishies with the right build and CHUNKS others.

Protector's Surge is definitely the weakest of his main 3 abilities, it unfortunately got the hammer when the healing nerf came around but its still good when fully leveled, i like to leave it last for levels, mainly because the 1 and the 2 are way more important as a solo, having it available is nice for a small heal, but i get the most amount of use out of it for a quick run away or using it to get into a fight, unfortunately it works the same way Da Ji's teleport works, but this time you can only target a friendly.

To The Skies! is a really niche ability in my opinion, its very good if your team knows how it works or if you need to get far away fast, but 90% of my games are full of people that have never even seen a Horus. its really not that hard to stand inside the glowing circle when your Horus uses their ultimate, because 9/10, he knows what to do for the fight and hes going to get you out of there.

Using the currents from the updraft, Horus' next Basic Attack within 5s will create a gust of wind that travels forward, damaging enemies and slowing them for 2.5s. This attack cannot crit. Enemies that are knocked up when hit take bonus damage.

Horus and his allies at the landing location gain a protective shield for 4s.

Introduction

Hello, my Name is Twisted and I'm a Solo Horus main, ive been playing this god for quite a while, while trying out other gods but i always end up back at him. through his lows and his highs i will always go back to that lovable bird.

And i will update this build if anyone leaves some suggestions with items and i test them out, and i will (unfortunately for me) work on a support Horus build.

Golden Blade

As another Horus guide has said, Golden blade does NOT fit Horus, if you get it you can clear faster but you dont even tickle the enemy solo, it might be good as a late item but by than you can already one shot waves so theres really no point.

Team Work

Your main job as a Horus in team fights is to pull the mid and carry away from the fight, kill them if you can and assist your Jungler in their backline, if you feel your support cant do it alone, join him up front and CC their tanks and keep them off your Mid.

Talk

This is all just my experience playing Horus and I'm sure theres a better way to optimize this.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of items like tainted steel, as most of the time the anti heal doesnt really matter as you either kill the solo fast or have to retreat because of them out CC'ing you. (TYR! looking at you)

As i said previously, golden blade is not an item i have ever, and will never recommend on horus as i always enjoyed him as a slow but chunky ability based god.

I do have a jungle horus build as an option, and its worked most of the games ive done it, but it HEAVILY depends on your mid, their mid and the enemy jungler.

and if you see somebody ignoring your attempt to go in or leave with your ult make sure to POLITELY tell them to stand inside it, as youre trying to save their life.
