In the early items section of this build I have both Heartward Amulet and Sovereignty. While in the duo lane I would normally recommend getting Heartward Amulet first. Remember that this item has your physical defense and MP5 aura. This is best early game to assist your ADC in surviving attacks from the enemy ADC. Also the MP5 is helpful in allowing you to continue healing with Wisps for longer without running out of mana. Yes, your Verdant Growth is also a good source of mana but if you get Heartward Amulet first you can use it more offensively as a setup for Nature's Grasp. (still keep one flower on the field at all times for your ADC). While on the topic of ADC sustain if your ADC has good natural sustain do not fully build Wisps. Rather, dual build Wisps and Verdant Growth.
Obviously, a lot of people looking for a guide on a character they just started with want a solid purchase order. I recognize that and decided to explain about my "utility" section of the build. Being a support build the order in which you get your items is heavily dependent on your team and game-mode. First of all I'll say that if the game-mode is Arena or Assault you should always get Lotus Crown first. In other game-modes you should normally build Gem of Isolation first for the slow as well as the health and mana. However, if the enemy team is unbalanced towards offense get Lotus Crown first. On the other hand if the enemy is rigged towards high defense get Void Stone.
Nature's Grasp is a great ability but it can be hard to hit. Take advantage of your passive and your Verdant Growth to set it up with a root.
Wrath of Terra gives you CC immunity for the duration. This is perfect for countering attacks such as AresNo Escape and other painful CC's.
In any game-mode with towers plant a Verdant Growth behind it so your team can regen some mana.
Remember that Wisps protects your allies rather than just healing them. This makes it useful while initiating a group fight.
It's a bit obviouse but if you combo any level of Greater Blink with Wrath of Terra it is more likely to hit your desired targets.
When in a bad situation with you and multiple enemy gods, dodge around your minion wave without using basic attacks until your Wisps are off of cool down.
When supporting Awilix is a great jungler to have. This works best when your on curse because the general idea is for her to call you to use you ult just before she ganks. This sets hers Gravitational Surge up perfectly and I can not think of a time this hasn't been a lethal maneuver.
From playing with my my brother says that the best ADC for Sylvanus is Neith. I believe it because her AOE root effect sets up Nature's Grasp, allowing her to finish them off.
After mentioning those two optimal allies I just have to say that it really doesn't matter to much what your team is. Sylvanus can support just about anyone. Still, don't overdo it. If possible use only your Verdant Growth and Nature's Grasp to set up kills because if you use the others the DOT may steal the kill. Use Wisps primarily for healing and Wrath of Terra in group fights and in desperate situations.

Walrus..... shut up..... right NOW!!!
If you guys really want to stop arguing, then stop talking and just ignore the guy instead of making "follow the leader hate train" comments.
*facepalm*
Stop.
it's good that you saw this yourself as it's missing a lot (even so much that I don't even acknowledge this as a build.)
Yeah I release guides at the bare minimum and they grow over time. I work on them whenever I have time or learn something new.
on this build,
That said this guide is actually not done yet

That said this guide is actually not done yet and I will be adding onto it later. Thanks for your support.
I may have been more than just pissed, but I cant stand it.
What kind of argument is that? "These guides are meant for low-level players, so its fine to use subpar tactics."
A good guide should be as good as possible, and this guide...isn't.
Agree or disagree with this, that's all I have left to say on the topic. I'm not trying to hate on the advice WalrusLyfe gave since it is legitimately better in a lot of scenarios. It's just the way that it's presented so often as 'always better no matter what the context' that I have a problem with.
